It was obvious that they were left behind after the palace was built. Caspian picked it up and took a look. One the cover of one of the books wrote, "All-seeing Mirror". The other book was called "Immortal Path".

I think I was in shock as they say. I heard Brandt call the police, then he grabbed a laptop and sat near me. I think he was worried about me and wanted to keep an eye on me. I hadn't said another word since screaming for him to come. What could I really say? It was his home that had been violated. The message was for me though. To scare me away, perhaps? How much can you write on a mirror with lipstick? How cliche was that by the way? But the person made their point.

She came back way sooner than expected. "I've been wanting to read this one," she shared in a small voice, shrugging her shoulders while walking back to the couch. Just as she sat down with finesse, held out the book with both hands, and carefully opened it, letting the pages cascade smoothly like it was some treasured family heirloom, and that was when he read the title he was aching to recall. Of course! "The Imperial Serenade," he mumbled the title out loud. "By the Lancaster Maureen Ethereal," Carylle continued with satisfaction. "I've been dying to read this since back then. My former co-workers have been talking about it a lot."

"And she’s going to use it to kill us. If we don't find, she will use him to take your throne." Ricardo stared at me for a long time. The silence in the room was heavy. Finally, he nodded. "I’m already part of it," I said, thinking of the red laser dot on Maria’s chest and the golden eyes in the woods. "I’ve been part of it since the day I stepped into this mirror." I sat on the bed, my heart ready for the truth. I knew that the next few hours would change everything. The "Mirror of Malice" was about to show us a face we never expected to see.

Mira smirked and continued chopping her vegetables. “You are issuing an arrest? What is wrong with you?” I reduced my tone. “Harry, I grew soft. I forgot about the pains he put me through but after his meeting with me today, I know exactly what I am doing”. She opened the pressure pot and poured the vegetables in it. “Mira, this is my brother, your husband. Your new life and your reputation. Do you want to gamble with all that?” I asked softly. Dust floated in thick beams of moonlight as Mira pulled out an old grimoire. “The Mirror Realm,” she said, placing the book on the altar, “isn't just a spiritual plane. It's a prison. A reflection of every soul’s darkest fears and regrets. And Isolde didn’t create it. She escaped it.” Ivy’s eyes widened. “So she was... imprisoned there?”

I gasp, surprised and confused “But, why?” Walking through the library, heading toward the darkened back, flames light up against the wall as we pass, illuminating our path. “Because of this,” Althea stops, holding up her hand. Both Crimson and I turn to face what she is showing us. “A mirror?” Crimson scoffs, “What makes this mirror special enough to kill and almost wipe out a Pride?” His words die off when his eyes land on the enormous frosted, looking glass. Framed by an unknown dark metal that swirls and bends around the clouded mirror, carved with images of Jaguars, Bears, Wolfs, and humans, all the way to the top. He sighed. *sigh* And raised a hand to massage his temples. "A class 4 dark artifact…" He mumbled, and Director Bones asked about it. "What is it?" "The Mirror of Erised. Is an artifact that shows in its reflection the deepest desire that the person looking at has. Until here there would be no problems, but the mirror entrances the user and viewer to continue looking at its reflection and do nothing more. This mirror killed a lot of people by starvation simply by showing them their deepest desire being realised."

I cannot think of anything else… Just when I want to retreat my hand, a glowing shape appears on the surface of the mirror. I take a look closer as it clarifies, and I can distinguish a gold diamond-shaped pendant with an intense purple colored crystal at its center. As I place the journal on the sink to take my phone out of my pocket and take a shot, the instant I’m not touching the book, the shape disappears…oh, come on!!! I touch the book again, but there’s nothing this time. “I thought I would find you here, are you okay girl?” she looked at me with a troubled look. I guess I did look awkward, one hand on the mirror, the other on the book swearing at my own reflection…

Mason kept checking his mirrors. His line was completely ruined. Every corner entry was hesitant. He was afraid. The shadow from twenty-eight years ago was now chasing his rear bumper in a form he could see and feel. He tried to block me with dirty line changes.
