The mirror still stood in the corner, its reflection gleaming in the dim light. It felt like it was waiting for her, as though it were watching her every move. But this time, Bliss didn’t hesitate. She walked toward it, her heart pounding in her chest. She had seen the truth in this mirror before, but now she would face it head-on. She would break its hold over her.

He looked like me, actually my exact replica, but he wasn’t me. I hated what I saw– the pain, the vulnerability, and oh the fucking weakness. With a snarl, I connected my fist to the mirror, watching as it shattered right where my face reflection was.

In the centre stood a pedestal, upon which rested a singular mirror a mirror that seemed untouched by the darkness that surrounded it. This was the culmination of their journey, the nexus point of their shattered bond. Jaxon approached the mirror cautiously, his hand trembling as he reached out to touch its surface. The moment his fingers made contact, a blinding light erupted, engulfing him and his companions.
