The maid whom I deciphered to have been the one who changed my coffee, rushed towards me, concern laced in her voice. "What is happening?" As she stood next to me, I screamed at her. "Are you trying to kill me, who sent you to do this to me? You added a roach into my coffee"

Jane greeted. "Good morning, master Grayson." Michelle greeted with a sly tone. "Good morning, Michelle." I greeted her back. I walked to the counter and sat down. "Should I get you a cup of coffee?" Mitchell asked. I nodded. "Yeah I need one." Michelle made the coffee and walked to the counter, she dropped it gently on the counter for me. I took it and sipped from it. I clenched my fist as I dropped the cup of coffee on the counter.

I went into mine and collapsed on my bed breathing heavily and then I knew that I couldn’t tell Maisie about the night’s event or the dream either. I met Maisie the next day at a standard coffee shop. We picked up from where we left it off the previous day whilst warming our organs with coffee. Hers was a demitasse ( a small cup of strong black coffee without milk or cream) while mine had equal parts of espresso and hot milk topped with cinnamon and nutmeg and whipped cream too. Mine was a cappuccino coffee and with our coffees we had delectable coffee cakes. “You wanna see my parents?” Maisie asked parting her pink lips a little redder than usual for a smile that revealed her graceful teeth

“This is just an outing between friends. Nothing more.” “Uh-huh. I’m going to third wheel so hard.” “Drink your coffee, you brat.” My grin simmered to a pout as I eyed the coffee warily. The chilled clumps and dark sauce mixed together in a messy puddle. The bits of chocolate chips that were poured into the drink were slowly sinking to the bottom in a leisurely fall. “I want to,” I poked the cup sadly, “But I’m just going to throw it up.”

Monique placed the coffee right in front of Sacha. The cup was from Mansion Coffee; it had a strong, unique flavor of the beans that no other cafe could imitate. Sacha was very familiar with their taste. “Let me taste it,” Sacha was certain that Monique came here to stir trouble because of their previous dispute. If that was the reason, he would not let her off so easily. Sacha took a sip and frowned deeply. The coffee was so salty that he could not swallow it. I pointed. “Midnight Regret. Want to try?” She snorted. “Why would I willingly drink something called Midnight Regret?”
