Dube stepped out, already opening the back door for me. “My employer would like to meet you,” he said. I swallowed hard. “…Who is he?” For a brief moment, he hesitated. Then— “Neil Morrison.” The name hit like a shockwave because I knew it. Everyone did. He was a billionaire, an industrial giant. A man whose name carried power in every room it was spoken in. My heart started racing. “That’s not possible,” I said under my breath. Mr. Dube met my gaze steadily. “It is.”

“How do you know I haven’t made something of myself since then?” Sandra laughed. “You? Please. Let’s show them who you really are.” She turned dramatically to the audience. “You’ve all heard of Sundar, the hidden Weaver behind the Devotion lattice. Well—” she pressed a hand to her chest “—I’m Sundar.” Gasps rippled across the hall. Reporters surged forward, their crystals blinking as they recorded every word. “What? The Luna is Sundar?” “Alpha, is this true?” “No wonder Vane Hall’s wards have been unmatched lately!”

I have never seen a conceited asshole like Killian Black before. The man doesn't know his workers. He doesn't even know what they look like or even their names. He just didn't care. All he cares about is dropping by his club twice a week to get wasted, get high, and get fucked and leave for his multi Billion dollar company on weekdays. He is just too annoying and too much. He is the fine definition of privilege and he treats people like shit. He barely gives a shit about anyone. I don't care if he's so sweet to some set of people, the man is just a complete jerk. A good looking jerk, and I hate that he's so attractive.

“Let them watch. Let them talk.” His hand came to rest lightly at her waist, but there was nothing gentle about it. “They’ll leave reminded of exactly who you are.” Elena tilted her head, meeting his gaze. “And who is that?” His thumb brushed just above the edge of her stomach, where the secret was no longer just hers. “My wife,” he said quietly. “The mother of my child. Untouchable.” Elena held his gaze a second longer than necessary. Then she stepped back. “Untouchable people don’t need to convince anyone of it.”

Petal's Pov "Don't touch her until I say so!." Mr Ryker snapped, his eyes turning pitch black as he used his alpha tone to impose obedience on Zara. More reason I hate him, always acting feisty. "Untie her!." Mr Ryker ordered as his eye color snapped back to normal. "Excuse me? Am I still alive? Am I invincible here?. I said, I love this place and would love to spend more time here, I mean....completing my punishment." I stated wide eyed.

Stupid! Then the door opened. The almighty Mr. Huntington appeared. I caught my breath as I saw his appearance. Again. He walked towards me with confidence and the air of egocentric and arrogant surrounded him. I couldn’t help but gulp at his sight. Ocean blue eyes, chiseled face, prominent nose, and sexy lips which I think he kissed so many women. He looked so dashing on his corporal suit and the brushed-up hair added spice as to how good-looking he was.

MORRISON The message didn’t come as a surprise; it was the timing. I knew men like Jasper; they never back down, they storm and demand until they’ve gotten it. “We need to talk, you will want to hear this.” ~ Unknown contact. I stared at the screen for a second, longer than necessary. There was no name or signature. But I didn’t need one; the tone said it all. It was Jasper. My thumb hovered around the screen, not to confirm the identity, but to reply. A second message came before I could type—

The man was tall, about six foot tall and some inches apart. The skin over his body was pale and smooth. His robe was open and I glimpsed a black scar that ran all the way from his chest to be the end of his torso. Last night I had seen him hard. My mind led itself to what could be hiding under his pants then I shook it off. What a man! His presence was commanding, and those icy blue eyes of his were sharp but gave out no hints. So I could tell he was observing me but didn't know what he was thinking. Probably judgment.

Wilson placed a bowl of oatmeal, scrambled eggs, and warm ginger tea in front of me. "Why is her breakfast different from ours?" Daniel asked, his gaze suddenly locking onto me. Mrs. Wilson nervously explained that I wasn’t feeling well and needed a light diet. The door bell rang before Daniel could ask another question. Mrs. Wilson immediately realised rushed out to get it. A man probably in his early forties entered carrying a briefcase. Daniel immediately stood and led him into his study. "I think that's a lawyer." Rachael said smugly, once they had disappeared. I ignored her and continued eating.
