I stood there, hidden in plain sight, my nails digging into my skin as anger burned through me—hot, sharp, and unforgiving. I couldn’t do anything. I could only watch. And I hated it. I wanted to find Freya. No—I needed to. The anger sitting in my chest refused to settle, refused to quiet down.
