Damien’s never going to want to look at you again.” Just as Mona raised her hand to slash Elena’s face, Lyra came forward. Elena’s eyes blazed with blinding silver light. Damien tosses them aside as he takes off after Xavier. Xavier's beautiful light brown body was littered with claw marks. The Alpha looked back over his shoulder terrified as his little mate chased him with something shiny in his hand. Xavier stopped on the other side of the fire pit, his legs open, ready to dart in either direction. Damien slid to a stop while holding a scalpel. The Alpha still isn't sure where in the hell it came from.

A burn of pain ripped through my face as she dragged the sharp tip of the scissors down the unscarred side of my face, engraving a thick line from my hairline down to my jaw.
