Monarch System Novels & Stories

"Correct. But why is that important? Why not just require everyone to live under one system?" A boy named Marcus—there were three Marcus's in the confederation now, the name had become common—spoke up. "Because different people need different things. My dad lived in Manhattan for a year. Said it was too controlled. Came back here. But my uncle stayed. Says he likes the efficiency. Both are right for them." "Exactly." Maya pulled up a map showing the confederation territory. "We have three systems coexisting. Alliance democracy. Manhattan efficiency. Reclamation discipline. People can choose. That's the foundation of everything we've built."

I finally broke it to her. “Oh, do you want to go back there? I think you should go, you wouldn’t have to worry about these stressful elections right?” I chuckled and shook my head at her, “Monarchy isn’t elected but the prime minister is. It’s just that in Belle, descendants of prime ministers are more likely to become the next in line to lead the pack.”

The whispers of dissent grow louder with each passing day, and I fear that if I don't find my son soon, the kingdom I love will be torn apart from within. In werewolf monarchies like Harvestia, the prolonged absence of my heir spells nothing but chaos. It's an age-old tradition, one that I've seen play out countless times in history. When the alpha leader's heir is missing, it's like opening a Pandora's box of power struggles and political maneuvering. Traditionally, the strongest contenders within the monarchy would seize the opportunity to vie for the vacant position. They'd abandon their duties, consumed by their ambition to claim the throne for themselves. It's a selfish cycle that negle

After being bolstered by Monarch's might, each of the ten A-rank 4th circle centaurs could easily overcome A-rank 6th circle knights. Moreover, there were only thirty centaurs, so there were only 30 stacks. That was a 300% increase in attributes. If I stacked it 1,000 times... If not the ninth circle A-rank knights, then the eighth circle will they not easily subdue? My eyes glowed with splendour. Of course, someone had to extinguish this whirlwind of joy. Other than the system itself, who else? [The Monarch's Power can only be stacked 100 times.]

Sinclair scoffed, “Right, that’s why we exist in secret – because humans are so accepting of those who are different.” The Mayor, like all human mayors of Moon Valley, had been less than amused to discover the existence of shifters when she took office two years earlier. Nor could she ever fully wrap her mind around the power dynamics. It never ceased to confuse her that the monarchy resided in Moon Valley but did not rule the pack directly, rather delegating power to the territory’s Alpha. Sinclair, on the other hand, thought it was pure stubbornness on her part – since she had no problem understanding state versus federal governance in her own society. “And I suppose this has nothing to do

Magna was made up of six supernatural families. Firstly, The James. The most powerful family out of all that were envied by the other five because they were the one that ruled the throne. They were by birth from Great Britain. They were once no one could defeat. They won the hearts of the commoner by their love and affection. They thought that love was such a powerful emotion that greatness lied in it. But they were gravely mistaken for they were tarnished by the great power of love. They say that it is true that all good things in a high amount are dangerous.

I say, wanting to get to the bottom of this issue now. “It was your birthright to rule over Màni, the Supreme Alpha is basically the King but just someone who is voted into office. There is no political agenda when it comes to the monarchy, there are political agendas when electing a Supreme Alpha. The shifter kingdom has been lucky to vote in Phelan and Rian, but it is no guarantee that YOUR pups will be voted into the office when Rian is ready to retire. This keeps the power in a single player’s hands.”

*ALPHA SAM* Bang! "This is Crazy! You are a Werewolf bastard! If I knew you were going to change the government system like this I would never have collaborated with you!" Carlos was annoyed as he hit the table very hard. I changed the system of royal rule in which the rights of a king and the income he earned had to be known to members of the highest parliament. Just like regulating the order of state life for ordinary people, I enforce it here. Werewolf and Lycan are one unit. In parliament, there must be a balance between Lycans and Werewolves. Everyone gets the same rights so that their lives are fair and prosperous.

“This isn’t an alliance of convenience. It’s a new foundation. A unified Northern Kingdom.” Alpha Thorne, predictably, leaned back with a scoff. “You mean a foundation with you two on top.” “I mean a foundation with layers of responsibility.” I kept my voice steady. “Kael and I are proposing a constitutional monarchy. You keep your packs, your Alphas, and your lands. But we coordinate defense, trade, and laws that affect us all.” “Who decides what ‘affects us all’?” Alpha Corwin asked. It was a fair question.

I wanted everyone to know that he was more than just my Consort. The next part was a tradition I found a little strange. When crowning a Consort, the reigning Monarch would once again mark their mate, not in private, but out in front of the entire pack and Alpha representatives. In re-marking their mate, it was hoped that the Lycan gene might transfer to the Consort, making them a full Monarch and ensuring that children would most likely carry it. Once this was completed, I would announce his dominion over the four packs. This is what had me worried. I was unsure how the other Alphas would take this declaration, given that having a Queen was new for them, and now there was an Alpha with more
