Astra’s pov: “Ugh…this pain. It just won’t leave me alone!” I pounded my palm on my head and closed my eyes. A thought had been gnawing on my mind for the last couple of weeks. I reached out for the glass of water on the table beside me. My hands shook and the glass dropped with a huge crash. Pieces of sharp glass remained shattered on the wet floor. I stepped into the pool of water. An especially large piece of glass was right in front of me, its sharp edge pointing right at my toe. I continued to stare at it as if I expected it to move away from me on its own.

I don't see him anywhere.” Soheila asked Theodore. “He's following us.” “What about the ship?” “Destroyed.” Theodore shrugged his shoulders. Soheila's jaw dropped. “The whole ship was destroyed?!” Her voice was quite loud, the six birds and the others heard her. They turned around and looked at Soheila and Theodore, wondering what ship was destroyed.

During one of their first few nights in the vast open water, Nero saw, or imagined he saw, a vessel standing for them under a press of sail, as though it would run them down. Luna in particular affirmed that it was the ship that once sank due to a storm, and that it must certainly be it, or at least it was its the apparition. According from what she heard, there was once a ship that was lost off the {Cape of Good Hope, change the name}, and every soul on board perished. Wasting no time, the cats approached their masters to report this sighting. As they ran as fast as their four stubby legs could take them, they cried to their fellow members.

I Midnight, the Pirates’ Captain was awakened when he felt that their boat was moving violently. He was about to stand-up when the sudden roughness of the sea stopped and their boat slowly returned to its normal sailing. Then he noticed the Thregonad woman beside him whose eyes are now open too and seemed to be dreamily smiling at him. “So, you are awake too. Based from your smile I have a hint that you wanted me to fuck you. Is that right woman?” he asked the woman in a savage way to turn her off, but the woman smiled more.

He asked. " Oh, ahem.. I am eh.. Salomon. I was sent by the sailor. He couldn't make it today." Pete replied with a stupid smile, all his teeths outside. " Hmm I see…. So Mr Sebawa…" " Salomon.." " Mr Salomon, why haven't you offloaded the crates? And where are the rest of the crew members, are they sick too?" The leader of Dagon's men asked. " Actually, yes. They all caught a contagious sea sickness called Paradiso Corn Syndrome which gives a running stomach, so they are currently hospitalized." Pete said, still keeping the stupid smile.

The ashes vanished into the sea, carried away by the cold sea breeze. Lucy's heart broke into a million pieces. She blamed herself. Her mother did not like the cold or the sea, yet she was trapped forever in the depths of the ocean. "Mom, I'm sorry…" Lucy sobbed. Regret washed over her. She regretted falling for Wyatt and marrying him. She regretted everything. Lucy suddenly saw black. Before she lost her consciousness, she heard Wyatt saying anxiously, "Eva, hold on! As long as you get well, I'll promise you anything!"

He pulled me deeper into the water and out of my thoughts. We waded out further into the water until it came up just below my breasts. Something brushed against my leg and I let out a shriek. Dom wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close. “What was that?” I asked, looking up at him, and he gave me a smile. “Maybe a shark?” “Can we go back to the shore?” “Sarah, I’m just kidding. I brushed my foot against you.” He wrapped his arms tighter around me and I pouted up at him.

Tristan flanked her on one side, Callum on the other, shielding her like she was the only person in this grand, glittering night worth protecting. I stood in the darkest corner of the deck and watched every ray of light fall on Elise. Once, I would have given anything for her to stand in that spotlight, any price at all, because she was a musical genius. I never imagined that the price would turn out to be myself. I smiled bitterly. Then, without warning, the crowd on deck lurched. Champagne spilled across the floor. Before anyone could react, the captain came rushing over. "The coast guard has issued an intercept order. They're demanding we stop the vessel immediately for inspection."

“What is it Margaret? Is everything alright?” “Did you hear the news?” she was panting. “About what?” “The murder of five sailors by the coast, rumor is spreading fast that it is the work of pirates who recently landed on Sargas, soil” She already looked scared, Margaret’s son worked as an engineer in the royal yacht, and she had always been worried about him considering the rise of the murders by the pirates. “Where is Delroy?” Atarah asked, going inside her room and walking inside her closet to change.

Marina then looked in the same direction and she also saw the silhouette on the water, making her confused. “Are they lost?” Marina asked, but Charlotte stayed silent. The pirate girl squinted her eyes trying to focus on the silhouette’s details, and after a few seconds she could identify some of them: the silhouette was a ship, apparently a merchant one, and on its deck, it seemed like there was the whole crew. Charlotte kept looking at the ship and she did not notice anything weird on it; nevertheless, when she spotted the flag waving on the mainmast, she immediately knew she and her friends were in terrible danger. “We have to go,” Charlotte said while turning around to get back to the sh
