[RABBIT] Monday came faster than expected. “Weekends are for meeting deadlines…Monday is for making sure I’m not dead” he groaned and made his way to the bathroom. Although his classes didn’t start until afternoon, he had to prepare for this morning shift by 8AM at a diner uptown. He rinsed his face, grabbed a toothbrush, squeezed toothpaste onto it and got to work. His alarm went off as he rinsed off his mouth, peeking at his phone on the desk from the bathroom;

Monday morning arrived with an unusual silence. There was no "Good morning" text from Noah, no reminder to eat breakfast, and no random message asking how she had slept. Ava stared blankly at her phone while buttering a slice of toast, greeted by absolutely nothing. She wasn't entirely surprised; after yesterday's disastrous lunch, she had expected things to be awkward, but she still couldn't deny that she missed those little habits. With a quiet sigh, she slipped her phone into her handbag and headed out the door for work.

I groaned, snuggling up my duvet. “ Are you really going back to sleep again? Do you even know what today is?” Mona asked frustrated. I was genuinely the one frustrated at this point because she was interrupting my sleep. “ It's a day in the week. Happy?” “ Argh! Sometimes, you can be so…impossible,” she groaned. She didn't say anything for a few seconds, she was probably calming herself. I couldn't be bothered right now. “ Today is Monday. Did you forget you are to have classes with Sir Kia?” She reminded calmly.

It was Monday and it wasn't unusual for people to be sleepy during class or simply not in the mood, for Mondays are that kind of a day. But for some reason, Aiden seemed to be overdoing it. He wasn't sleepy. None of the kind. However, anyone could tell from miles away that he was emitting a strong aura of "Don't fucking talk to me" scaring everyone around him to don't even sneak a glance at him. Being in such a mood made Jasmine wonder. Is he in his period?

75 Sophia’s POV. Mondays have a peculiar rhythm to them. For most, they symbolize the beginning of a new week—filled with fresh starts or dreaded routines. For me, it’s a day of duality. The sun was still rising as Jenny and I left the house. Our small talk was peppered with bits of morning humor, just enough to get our minds off the weight of the week ahead. I just hoped this week wouldn’t be like the others. Jenny was feeling better now and she had even been the one to insist we go to day today.

It was another bright day, a Sunday morning, Mel woke up, feeling well-rested after a long week. She stretched her arms and yawned, taking a moment to appreciate the comfort of her bed. She glanced at her phone to check the time and saw that it was already past 9 am. Mel smiled to herself, knowing that she could take her time getting ready for the day ahead.

It was a classic favourite of Tony's that he used to torment Dillon, since the lyrics reminded him so much of him sometimes. It was about the angst and anger of adolescence, and it drove the kid to insanity when Tony would play it, much to his delight. That moment however, he wanted to pelt his phone into a wall. It was the alarm that signaled it was eight in the morning.

Monday morning was its usual circus, minus the elephants, but full of clowns. I waltzed into the office like I hadn’t spent the weekend stuffing my face with pepperoni pizza, dodging toxic exes like landmines, and quietly panicking about prenatal checkups while hugging my toilet bowl between episodes of Selling Sunset.

I knew that it would help me and doubts if I could hear from him. It was a Monday and how I hated Mondays. The mere thought of it weakened me and to top it all, it was noon at work. I couldn't think straight, the day was extremely busy and I could barely get a moment to rest. This job was going to be the end of me, I just knew it.
