Within seconds, she placed the ball gag in Ash's mouth, hooking it behind his head.

Monica let out a furious growl so loud that it echoed throughout the thick forest. “You wanted me to remain hidden?” she spat sarcastically. “You’re going to regret ever saying those words to me… and regret killing my entire family.” Following Monica’s mindlinked words, she turned toward her warriors and gave a single nod. Immediately, her wolves lunged forward aggressively toward Maverick and his men. Maverick’s cold blue eyes narrowed before he nodded once as well. His warriors instantly took that as their signal and charged forward without hesitation.
