Monique Deveraux The Originals Novels & Stories

“You’re up to something, aren’t you?” “Xavier can you stop asking questions and let him tell us.” “I already know. Devin works for notorious men and gets paid. He probably wants to share the money with us, I’m all in as long as I don’t get involved in shit.” My heart raced faster as soon as Xavier finished. Did he have an idea I was working for James? Was he going to do the same thing he did with Amelia? Fucking hell. Before I could think of anything to say in my defence, Emily clapped her hands together.

Aside from already having a good impression of Monique at first glance, the fact that the two little ones liked Monique so much meant that this girl must be a good person. Truth be told, children made better judgement of people than adults. Levi quickly grabbed Monique and said, "Monique, don't go with the two little kids, I still have an elder to introduce to you." Introducing elders was just a reason. He was just too eager to reclaim Monique's attention. "This is Aunt Karen and Uncle Kevin," Levi said to Monique who became nervous all over again. The elegant and noble couple in front of her was the founder of Rovio Corporation Inc. and his wife. She heard many good things about them and th

I opened the first one and my knees went weak at the headline. “From Cheating Wife To Runway Muse: Olivia Monroe’s Scandalous Rise At Luxe Devereux.”

‘’Well I will tell Monique to chill out sometime if that’s what you want. ‘’Oh that’s her name?’’ he asked and raised a brow. ‘’That’s a great way to start a friendship with her. Hi Monique, I am Devin, a normal human being and real friends with the owner of this body so quit acting like a bitch to me anytime I just want more normal friend back to me,’’ he said, causing me to laugh. ‘’A normal human being?’’’I asked laughing. ‘’I guess I am abnormal yeah?’’

Alice POV *** Painted in orange and blue, teamed with the golden rays of the emerging sun, the sky promises freedom to fly high. Driving through the sea of people in Manhattan is quite a challenging task, but it also gives me the illusion of a normal life. It's just a foolish thought because my life is anything but normal. --- I’m Alice Michaelson, a royal member of The Originals. The Originals are the first family blessed by the moon. As the moon goddess’s first creation, the royals are gifted with special abilities—they can shift into a mighty beast called a Lycan.

**The First Mission** Monaco had been a test. Now, the real work began. Ayesha sat in front of a large digital map, the glow from the screen illuminating her face. The world was still broken—Miran Davos might have disappeared, but his network hadn’t. His allies were already moving in, trying to rebuild what they had lost. And she wasn’t going to let them. The First Target Priya pulled up an encrypted report. “We have a lead. One of Davos’ key financial backers—Marcus Delacroix. He’s shifting funds, setting up offshore accounts. If he succeeds, he’ll create a new power base.”

“That felt good! Haha!” Looking at Xavier stumping on his feet from her rear mirror, Monique could not help but laugh out loud. Her face was simple and naturally beautiful, her brows thin and refined, her nose straight and delicate, her skin fair and silky. Her face was small and beautiful, with a charming smile. She did not want to stay on for too long, in case Xavier became irrational and damaged the car, then she would not be able to repay even if she sold herself.

The loud sounds she made when she was in the throes of an orgasm, like a bitch on heat, sometimes made it hard for Andrei to believe Monique usually spoke in a calm, breathy voice. "Legal is looking at it now as we speak," she added, pausing in front of the coffee station beside the bar. Without checking what he was in the mood for, she poured him an espresso. "And if all goes well, they'll be here in a day or two for a tour of our main hub." "Thanks," Andrei nodded, accepting the cup from her. Her fingers stayed a little too long on the back of his hand, caressing him. "You still didn't tell me what Papa Ivanov offered you to make you stay," Monique said, coming around his desk to rest behi

I take back my seat, I didn't glance at Monique once during my speech but I can feel her steaming a few inches from me. Mr Davids takes the floor first opening the settlement with $950. Monique scoffs, muttering something under her breath like why don't we make it $1000 at once. She's inaudible, so no one else but me hears her. I call her out. "Monique, if you have a dissenting opinion. Why don't you speak up I'm sure the house will love to hear it."

I murmured in response, hoping he couldn't sense how rapidly my heart was beating. “We are going to have so much fun, baby.” He leaned toward my neck and pressed a soft kiss against it. A wave of desire curled deep in my stomach, my heart continuing to race. My gaze drifted down to his lips, and I swore they looked incredibly tempting. I wanted to... Monica cleared her throat, instantly pulling me out of my reverie. “There are discrepancies in these values,” she suddenly announced as she leapt to her feet and moved closer to us. She showed Xavier something on the screen of her tablet.
