I backed away a step, and the wide grin on his face slipped slightly. “I just didn't want you to think that there was something going on there.” He motioned to Cyber’s snoring form. “There isn’t. I’m Monster by the way. Cyber’s brother.” He didn't hold out his hand for me to shake, he just waited and watched me with his baby blue eyes.

Thorny vines shot out of the woods and wrapped themselves around one of the monsters, trapping it but it wouldn't hold for long. The other two ran towards me with a speed I hadn't expected from monsters their size. Blasting them with my water magic didn't deter them, instead, it angered them further. They had almost gotten to me when the mist popped out six huge monsters, five of which immediately went into action. The winged monster didn't, instead, it trotted to me and nuzzled my cheek, making me smile. The Egran, which I had decided to name my monsters, fought with Karissa's scorpion-wolves with such speed that stunned the scorpion-wolves themselves at first.

With the special power he had, he was able to dodge the monster's attacks. “Da, dammit! Why do I have to meet him at a time like this!” Jacob muttered under his breath. The monster glared back at Jacob. The panicked Jacob immediately looked for a weapon for his own protection. Luckily at that time he found an M16 weapon lying on the floor. “Grawww!” quickly the monster approached Jacob. But Jacob moved faster than the creature. He managed to grab the M16 gun and direct it at the monster. "Dor! Dor! Dor!" Jacob immediately shot the monster until it died.

I can just imagine Cielo hitting the fucking ceiling. Sienna Okafor rasped, her silver hair whipping across her face as her pupils dilated, tracking the heavy ballistic vehicle that had just shattered the security perimeter. She grabbed Tracy’s shoulder plates, her breathing turning ragged. "Is Chika safe under that dark aura?"
