The Great Goblin Emperor

The Great Goblin Emperor

Although Alsten was displeased by the young chief's arrogant behavior, he still replied humbly with a soft smile on his face. "Yeah yeah, I heard. I also want to see, is it really that terrifying? I am also going to let them taste the terror of me, the young chief of the Eladrin! In the future, they will shudder to hear my name. " The young chief said smugly, he doesn't believe in such legends about Dracendale. He thinks that those who faced the terror of the Dracendale were weak individuals and he was a mighty warrior, the young chief of the Eladrin, those serpents in the valley weren't worthy of his efforts.

The Reaper's Harem: My Monster Mates

The Reaper's Harem: My Monster Mates

"Zergs have corrosive blood! Their shells are hard! They are immune to bullets! Normal people can't kill them!" "Can or can't, we'll see after I try," I say, eyeing the joint between the monster's head and body. I kick off the wall, launching myself into the air. "And who said I was normal?" The Zerg opens its mandibles. I catch its antennae mid-air and swing myself onto its back. I flip the axe in my hand. Thwack. I drive the blade precisely into the gap in its neck armor. I hold onto the handle for dear life as the monster thrashes. I twist the blade. Green slime sprays out. I dodge to the side, avoiding the corrosive splash. Below me, I can feel the axe handle melting from the acid.

The Prophecy's Pawn

The Prophecy's Pawn

The pendant around my neck began to shine slightly, and the warmth crept within me. Eric's eyes fell to the pendant, and his lips formed a thin line. "Then we face it together." When we arrived in the square, the community had devolved into anarchy. Crescent Moon soldiers were fighting odd, shadowy monsters that appeared to emerge from the earth. Their bodies were slightly humanoid, but their motions were jerky and unnatural, like puppets with unseen strings. "Eric!" Darius' shout echoed throughout the plaza as he battled off one of the beasts, his silver fur stained with blood. "That thing—it's tearing through us like nothing we've ever seen!"

MATED TO THE RUTHLESS LYCAN KING

It had large muscles, and its body constantly emitted what looked like purple smoke. “Oh, I did not see that coming,” Derren said. Derren turned back to Gregory and Eugene, then said, snapping his fingers, “New plan! We-” Before he could finish his sentence, the monster grabbed one of his legs, swung him around, and flung him toward a wall in the street. Gregory and Eugene quickly got into their fighting stances, then rushed at the monster. ***** “Is he going to show up?” Edith asked, standing beside Anaya in front of an old building. She held flowers to welcome the visitor they were expecting, and Anaya wore her best dress.

His Rogue Luna: Bound To The Midnight Alpha

His Rogue Luna: Bound To The Midnight Alpha

Their limbs and bones begin to twitch and crack unnaturally as they shift into hulky abnormal monsters with bald heads, disfigured muzzles, and red fangs that are utterly disgusting and strange to look at. Just like Erin warned me. With a screeching cry, Ryker’s enhanced soldiers charge forward. Muscled, snarling giant beasts. They are not wolves. Not anymore. “NOW!” I roar. My team and I charge forward. Our gunfires fill the air, shooting straight at the monsters as they fight back at us. Wes fights beside me. I dodge a pair of monster claws, slashing my silver blade across the monster’s throat. It howls, stumbling back before Derek shoots it twice in the skull.

I move past the commander and face the pack. “Thank you all for joining us. This means the world to us because truth be told, we were afraid to come back. We didn't know how you guys would react. for the fact that we left you but standing here seeing our entire pack joining us is…” I froze while saying this I took a big breath before continuing, “for the Aberrant pack!” I yell out, throwing my hand into the air. “To the Aberrant pack!” the entire pack yells afterward, raising their hands as well.

This storyline has some interesting characters. Jada and Easton are so busy ranting and raving about Severin and Edward is making a complete donkey out of them. This is a good book. I know it’s ongoing but so far I am enjoying it. Do not miss an exciting book if you’re looking for something goo.

one of the best novels of this site. well written and great story. The only problem is Monday you get a lot of pages and chapters, and the rest of the week you get a page a day. Come on the author and this site can do better. Really about to stop reading because of this.

The Monster's Protégé

The Monster's Protégé

“Which checks out—since you’re just a pretty little cunt with daddy issues.” Crack. The back of my hand slammed across his mouth so hard his head jerked sideways. I stepped into him, eyes locked on his, and my voice low and shaking. “Wrong,” I whispered. “I’m your worst fucking nightmare.” His lip split, but he only laughed like a maniac. I’d met his kind before—men who fed on fear, one who didn’t break with pain. But even monsters had a threshold. And I knew exactly where to find his.

Frequently Asked Questions

Monstrous Regiment' stands out in the Discworld series like a defiant drumbeat in a symphony of chaos—it’s sharper, more political, and unapologetically subversive. While most Discworld books balance satire with whimsy, this one digs its heels into themes of war, gender, and institutional absurdity with a focus that feels almost urgent. The protagonist, Polly Perks, isn’t just another quirky hero; she’s a revelation, dismantling stereotypes with every step in her stolen boots. The book’s tone is darker than, say, 'Guards! Guards!' or 'Going Postal,' but it’s laced with that classic Pratchett wit—just deployed like a scalpel instead of a sledgehammer.

What really sets it apart is its ensemble cast. The regiment’s members are a masterclass in subtle character arcs, each revealing layers of identity and resilience. Compared to the more sprawling, city-centric Discworld novels, this feels like a tightly plotted rebellion, both in narrative and theme. It’s less about the laugh-out-loud moments (though they’re there) and more about the quiet, searing commentary. If you adore Vetinari’s Machiavellian schemes or Vimes’ grumpy nobility, you might find this one’s militaristic setting a departure—but it’s a departure that lingers, like gunpowder in the air.
