Monstrous Regiment Terry Pratchett Novels & Stories

Although Alsten was displeased by the young chief's arrogant behavior, he still replied humbly with a soft smile on his face. "Yeah yeah, I heard. I also want to see, is it really that terrifying? I am also going to let them taste the terror of me, the young chief of the Eladrin! In the future, they will shudder to hear my name. " The young chief said smugly, he doesn't believe in such legends about Dracendale. He thinks that those who faced the terror of the Dracendale were weak individuals and he was a mighty warrior, the young chief of the Eladrin, those serpents in the valley weren't worthy of his efforts.

"Zergs have corrosive blood! Their shells are hard! They are immune to bullets! Normal people can't kill them!" "Can or can't, we'll see after I try," I say, eyeing the joint between the monster's head and body. I kick off the wall, launching myself into the air. "And who said I was normal?" The Zerg opens its mandibles. I catch its antennae mid-air and swing myself onto its back. I flip the axe in my hand. Thwack. I drive the blade precisely into the gap in its neck armor. I hold onto the handle for dear life as the monster thrashes. I twist the blade. Green slime sprays out. I dodge to the side, avoiding the corrosive splash. Below me, I can feel the axe handle melting from the acid.

"We are not subjected to Government Laws, sir. What do you mean laws to be followed?" "There are--" Veteron cupped both his hands. Keron knew that he was on the verge of breaking down. Shortly after Heaven accepted their Regiment to their fold, Veteron wasn't originally the Supreme-General of the Regiment. There was someone who stood in place before him. His voice cracked halfway through the joke exposing his fear. “Shut up, Kyle.” The monster’s body was massive, its skin slick like tar, its teeth jagged shards that gleamed in the moonlight. The runes we’d shattered seemed to crawl across its body, glowing and fading like veins. The moment it lunged was the moment I realised that obedience was a virtue.

Dennis watched himself crawl, battered and pathetic, out of the wreckage of his prized Level 6 land dreadnought. "Kill him." A young man's voice, cold and indifferent, rang out over the ruins, carrying no emotion at all, as though crushing a cockroach underfoot. The next instant, a violent gust of wind tore through. Dennis looked up in terror to see a massive, winged monstrosity dropping out of the sky. It was a modified Tyrant, its muscles like cast steel, its eyes gleaming with bloodthirsty red light. The creature reached out a massive hand, snatched him up like a chicken, and flew high into the sky.

The pendant around my neck began to shine slightly, and the warmth crept within me. Eric's eyes fell to the pendant, and his lips formed a thin line. "Then we face it together." When we arrived in the square, the community had devolved into anarchy. Crescent Moon soldiers were fighting odd, shadowy monsters that appeared to emerge from the earth. Their bodies were slightly humanoid, but their motions were jerky and unnatural, like puppets with unseen strings. "Eric!" Darius' shout echoed throughout the plaza as he battled off one of the beasts, his silver fur stained with blood. "That thing—it's tearing through us like nothing we've ever seen!"

It had large muscles, and its body constantly emitted what looked like purple smoke. “Oh, I did not see that coming,” Derren said. Derren turned back to Gregory and Eugene, then said, snapping his fingers, “New plan! We-” Before he could finish his sentence, the monster grabbed one of his legs, swung him around, and flung him toward a wall in the street. Gregory and Eugene quickly got into their fighting stances, then rushed at the monster. ***** “Is he going to show up?” Edith asked, standing beside Anaya in front of an old building. She held flowers to welcome the visitor they were expecting, and Anaya wore her best dress.

"To battle! Everyone shouted in unison as they rushed down Mount Regent. "Anti-air squad! Get into formation and intercept the bird monsters!" Strider ordered. His army of fifty thousand quickly got into formation, ready to meet the enemy head-on. Nova joined Daisy, Thunder, Nicholas, and Lacey in a charge to confront the monstrous horde at the base of Mount Regent. As the battle commenced, alarms sounded through countless cities. Every soldier and civilian prepared themselves for war. In Drogoton, Remy stood atop a high building and boomed, "My brethren! The monsters have set off for Mount Regent. That is where everything began and where it'll all end. Let's fight to forge a new era. To war

I move past the commander and face the pack. “Thank you all for joining us. This means the world to us because truth be told, we were afraid to come back. We didn't know how you guys would react. for the fact that we left you but standing here seeing our entire pack joining us is…” I froze while saying this I took a big breath before continuing, “for the Aberrant pack!” I yell out, throwing my hand into the air. “To the Aberrant pack!” the entire pack yells afterward, raising their hands as well.
