Monstrous Regiment Terry Pratchett Novels & Stories

I was fortunate enough to study information regarding monsters last night, when I felt like I didn’t possess enough knowledge about this world. And this, this... THING in front of me is the reason why I nitpick about the unfairness of giving informations about this world. I unconsciously heaved a long sigh. There’s nothing I can do about it now, can I? Saying from a side character’s point of view, or A.K.A, the mob character of this world that deserves living for the first several chapters, I didn’t have that priority over other main characters. “So...” I eyed the lifeless polar bear slash rabbit monster in front of me. This strange thing that the author came up with actually has its own nam

The sides of the monster quickly overgrown with new parts, closed with a bone shell along the entire length of the spine, turning the skeleton into a semblance of a body. Footsteps were felt behind him - Vic, Erto and the Tinasians were running through the forest in his direction ... Yarsi frowned, very distant cries touched his hearing, his inner vision threw people through the distance to the army holding the defense. The stream of the dead overwhelmed the advanced ranks and pushed the line further - to houses, to villages, to cities ...

🌑 Chains of Eternity Kael’s breath hung in his throat as he crouched behind the jagged ridge. His shadow trembled faintly beneath him, chains rattling in silence only he could hear. Below, the battlefield stretched like a grim stage set against the crimson fog—survivors, desperate and furious, struggling against the monster that dwarfed them. The creature was grotesque: a towering, skeletal beast, its hide patched with bony plates that gleamed sickly in the dim light. Each movement shook the ground. Its roar echoed through the air like a war drum, shaking Kael’s chest.

Chapter 57 When I stepped on the terrace of the second floor of the mansion where the whole woods could be seen, from below can be seen Viktoria's group and the members of Coventry. They were all wearing black clothes in their cloaks, I narrowed my eyes in their direction when I saw the goo monsters with them, and strange creatures like three-headed dogs and what distinguished them were those wearing cloth cloaks over their heads to hide their whole face. I wonder where Reginald is, could they have left Coventry? I glanced again in Viktoria's direction when I noticed she was also staring at me, smiling and as if she was feeling my fear this moment.

"Good morning, Ms. Ahri Hauntsen." Ahri smiled and replied, "Good morning children, today is my last day as your volunteer teacher. I have prepared a good story for you." The children clapped their hands while going back to their seats. Ahri opened the book entitled Peculiar Morass. She cleared her throat before starting to narrate. "Once upon a time there were two people who were cursed to hate each other. They are bound to be reincarnated again and again." "Why are they cursed, anyway?" The kid with a pigtail interrupted.

I hate the look of my muscles all tense and stitched tight on my back. A lifetime of blows and bouncing back collects scars. I've had a lot of scalding showers, and bruises have become stretched and angry on me, causing pitted scars. There are no tears, but the groans come in multitude. As a monster, you learn never to accept pain. Pain only affects you if you let it. Black slacks. Black socks. Charcoal shoes are polished until they look like a crisp new apple skin. The shirt is deep forest green, which brings out the natural multiple hues of green in my eyes. Intentional. Gold flecks are juxtaposed in my iris.

But my grandfather sent me again to another school named 'HARRISON UNIVERSITY' A typical but high-end school congested with bitches, nerds, lovers, jerks, bullies, and the pathetic ones who love to see themselves bullied. Not until I started to see bizarre things, I never wish to involve with. 'Monsters'—that's what Harrison University has. From that day on, I learn that all things happening inside this campus are bound to each other. Too late for me to realize that these will lead me to the place where I can find the identity that I myself don't want to bring back.

immediately Bernard heard those words, he snapped his eyes at Lucifer who was already terrifying with the look on Bernard's face so he quickly bowed his head again. " Am sorry my lord, if I spoke out of tongues but this is the truth, moonlight pack had been known to be one of the strongest packs, but ever since the death of your parents and your absence things had changed from bad to worse .you are not always around it always stock up with the human world so I please with you to think wisely my lord." Bernard silently listened to everything Lucifer said then a huge smile appeared on his lips this got a little Lucifer more terrified. " Do you have a problem with the choice I made Lucifer?" Be

Without anybody telling me, I knew he was their leader. Standing in front of us are more than dozens of monsters, which I suspect to be the priest messengers. They looked more like monsters than humans, some with two heads, long and short hands, rotten-smelling teeth, which were dripping blood like their master's own. They were clad in black armour, each person holding a sword or pike in their hand. Some had half of their heads scorched, some with scars all over their bodies, while some had one eye like a cyclops.
