Wayne stopped speaking and kept quiet. The revision class ended shortly after. Miss Emerson came inside the classroom and said before she began teaching, "The computing contest will be held three days from now. Whoever is participating has got to start practicing harder now." She did not know that Nicole was very good with computers yet, so she looked at her worriedly, "There's no need to push yourself too hard if you're really not very good at computing. Every participant of this contest also will be awarded a certificate." Nicole knew that Miss Emerson was trying to make her feel better, but she only nodded.

Like she was listening for a sound only she could hear. Just then, because the cafe was packed, a worker came out from behind the main counter. He was a big guy with a friendly face, a bright smile, and a flour-dusted apron. “Hey, folks! Can I have your attention, please?” he called out, his voice booming in the cozy space. The chatter died down. “As some of you know, tonight is our monthly Couple’s Day! We’re gonna have a fun little competition! The winning couple gets their entire meal on the house tonight, plus a fifty-dollar gift certificate for next time!”

Liora will never get this chance again. She will never be five years old twice.” I looked down slowly. “You’ve seen how far she has gone,” Dorcas continued. “It started with over a hundred children. She worked hard and made it to the final five. You can’t deny her effort.”

Emilia gave me that name, she was such a life-filled soul. “You remembered that?” I asked with a laugh. Edward chuckled. “Of course, I remember your amazing nickname. Stuck to you like glue,” he joked. I shook my head and examined the papers that were handed to me. On one paper was the arrangement of everything that would occur on this final night. And on the other was a list of all the young women and newly aged girls, with boxes beside each name. It was for a contest for something called ‘Miss Moon”. I’m guessing it’s a pageant and is called Miss Moon because both packs are moon packs.

But despite the action, the warriors got one or two skills on how to tackle a single opponent. Suddenly, Matthew had a mischievous glint in his eye, and both Zane and Raze knew that Matthew was up to something. "What's going on in that head of yours, Matthew?" Matthew grinned. "I was thinking, that we need a little competition to liven up the mood in the pack. A full moon contest between the three of us, you know the warriors were quite amazed to see us have that duel? Despite how ruthless you were." Raze shook his head and let out a tsk sound, he gulped down the chilled martini and had the full richness fill his mouth.
