According to her friends, this troll was depicted as a naked old wrinkly man, with a frog-like face, his body was covered in algae and muck making him unnoticed as he travels through the waters. His body was covered in slimy black scales, his hands were webbed and his eyes burned like coals. He rides in half-sunken logs making loud splashing noises if you get too close. Typically the Fairy's referred to him as the grandfather or forefather of the waters.
