Narrator's pov Full Moon The moon hung high, casting a silvery light over the quiet landscape. The air was thick with the pull of the lunar cycle, a force so powerful that the earth seemed to pulse beneath it. Arianna stood at the window of her room, her fingers firmly brushing the cool glass. Drawn to the moon since childhood, she felt its silent dance across the night sky beckoning to her. The howl of wolves echoed through the valley below, sending a shiver down her spine. The sound was all too familiar, but tonight, it felt sharper, more intense.

Ming Yue stood alone in the moon chamber at the top of the Moon Palace, her long, flowing robes rippling slightly in the cool breeze that blew through the open balcony doors. The night was still, the air filled with a heavy sense of mystery, as if the very atmosphere of the heavenly realm was holding its breath, waiting for something.
