A piece of glass got inside it. “You should have been careful!” Wade exclaimed and sat to take out the glass from her foot. He started feeling craved for blood. He didn’t want to have blood but he couldn’t resist. He managed himself to control. He tried his best. He got the glass piece out from Dara’s foot. He covered it and got up. “I…I have to go.” he exclaimed. “What’s the matter Wade?” “I can’t control it anymore.” Wade said while moving towards the window.

Blake asked while whipping out a printed map from his pocket and spreading it out in front of Hyacinth, “show me where it is on this map and we’ll take a helicopter there this second.” “Relax, it’s not a place I can pinpoint on a map because it’s hidden from human eyes and not included on a common geography map,” she pushed the map back to him. She raised the object in her hand,“This glass shard is from a special wand made from amethyst crystals that transport you to unknown realms to witness or recreate powerful moments from thousands of years back. And my guess is that they returned to the first blood moon altar so that the results of their barbaric ritual would be more potent.”

The wine flowed thick and dark, releasing an aged oak scent. He held one glass out to me. I stared at it like it might bite. “That’s…” My voice cracked, barely a whisper. “That’s the Lunar Eclipse. How…? Only the Alpha family…” He tilted his head, the smile deepening just enough to show a flash of white teeth. “Drink,” he said softly. Not a command this time, more an invitation. “It won’t bite. And tonight… you look like you could use something stronger than tears.” My fingers trembled as I took the glass. The crystal was cool against my skin, but the wine inside felt alive. I brought it to my lips, hesitated, then took the tiniest sip.

"Do you see." The Diner is still the same building. Square, flat, long glass windows. But now it glows with the same pale light as the moon. In fact the moon, the giant cold wolf moon, by some trick of the eye, seems to hover directly above it. The glass windows ripple like water.

I don’t think he would hurt me, or Jaxson, and I trust that this experience is anything but a kitschy little rumor, blown out of proportion and made into a game. I doubt it’s true, but I take the glass anyways and watch as the Luna circles the pack, pouring out a deep red liquid into the other glasses of happy partakers. It’s close to midnight, the moon already a threatening orange hue, and I almost feel excitement cancel out my nerves. The way everything blends together reminds me of a cinnamon swirl. It's sweet, but not overbearing, if you unravel everything piece by piece." The Moon Goddess heeded my call, thankfully. Mateo leaned forward, finally breaking eye contact, and took a sip of his water. "Impressive," he remarked before a young man approached holding a bottle of wine.

A light split through the storm, brighter than the blood moon, purer than any spell cast by the gods.
