Aria’s POV We woke up in the Crimson park that morning, and rain fell, not real blood, of course—but the sky turned a deep red, and the light it cast made everything look stained. It felt like an omen. One of many I’d been ignoring. I was alone in the Moon Library, seated in front of a book I hadn’t dared open until now: The Royal Lineage of the Lunar Thrones. The cover was soft with age. The spine cracked like it hadn’t been touched in generations. A single silver moon was carved into the center.

The deeper they went, the colder the air became. Dust floated through the narrow beams of light. Rows of towering shelves appeared in the darkness below—filled with scrolls older than kingdoms. Secrets forgotten by the world. If answers about the mysterious moon existed… They would be hidden here. Lyra walked between the towering shelves slowly. Her mark pulsed again. POV: LUNA Luna couldn't sleep. Again. Every time she closed her eyes, she saw those burning coals. That massive shape in the shadows. Smoke curling like living darkness. At 3 AM, she gave up. Grabbed her jacket and headed to the library. If she couldn't sleep, she'd at least be productive. The library was empty. Just dim emergency lights and rows of silent books. Luna made her way to the restricted section. The one Professor Cael said was off limits without permission.

Night had already deceased upon the Pack, and it would seemingly be a cold night. Judging from the heavy gusts of wind, and the presence of large thunderclouds - she couldn't even see the moon. It was strange and unsettling. This was the eve of the Mating Ceremony yet the moon wasn't In sight? Something terrible was going on , somewhere within the Nation, and Marianna could only wonder what. Hurriedly, she dragged her luggage which contained her essentials to the doorstep. The penthouse was actually her grandmother's, and since Marianna herself hardly visited the Pack, it was rather unkept.

While the plant provides power for most of the state, it does not require that many employees to run it so the town remains small.
