And Eliot, already aching, would feel every single one. Damien’s steps slowed as he reached the stairwell. He leaned on the railing, gazing out at the moonlight spilling through the tall glass windows. It painted his face in silver, sharpening his smile into something dangerous. “Moonlight mystique,” he whispered mockingly. “How poetic. How tragic.” Because in the end, Eliot wouldn’t just be Theo’s obsession or Damien’s conquest. He would be something broken, reshaped in the shadows of both their hands.

In fact it made her even more sad. She heard one of the ladies whispering to Ryder and telling him that she would be alright and he would have his sister bacck soon. To just be patient. You have no control over it and it will happen faster if you are directly in the moon light, but it will happen even if it is cloudy. It just takes longer.” Amaris took a moment to absorb all this. She's ridged as she tries to sink as low as possible in her seat. "Are you ok?" I ask looking at her from the corner of my eye. Her face is pale and she looks as if she's about to throw up. "Sage what's wrong?" I ask again slowing down a bit. "Is there someone standing on the porch of the blue house with the white trim on the left?" She asks, her voice quiet. "If so did he see me?" Her voice barely audible as if she's afraid someone will hear her.

Lena asked, flustered. “You. . .” he pointed tauntingly at her. “Worried about me?” His annoying laugh continued. “Of course I am, Jude. You're my mate,” she sneered. “And I'm yours too, whether you like it or not.” “Alright Lena, calm down. Because Selene directed me to you doesn't automatically mean I'm your damn mate.” Lena's eyes widened. “Yes. Yes, it does. That's literally what it means.
