In the moonlight, I noticed something I'd never seen before. Three long scars, old and faded, started at the top of his left shoulder and slid down his arm until they faded into nothing. I ran my fingers over them lightly and felt him go still underneath me. They had to have been made by a wolf or a vampire, nothing else would leave a scar. "What happened?" I whispered.
