Demons were weakened by having their true names revealed while World Destroyers grew stronger by having others propagate their names. The two races thrived on fear and chaos. Hearing Cronos’s words, Mane felt that it was more likely that this thing was a World Destroyer.

Relief washed through me as I shook my head. "No. What we believe about demons are wrong. They are called Daemons and they do not have the power to take souls," I explained. "They need a spell from a Sorceress to do that. But a Sorceress needs the amplifying power of a Daemon to take souls on such a mass scale. Each one had a short description alongside a sketched photo of the demon themself and a symbol. I’d read through each one, finally landing on Chaos. He looked different than the rest of the sketches, as if he were a last minute add to the book. The drawing of him was smeared, as if the artist rushed. His symbol was different. Less intricate than the others.

None of them were caught doing any activities which are suspicious and against him. That's when he decided to investigate the matter further about how she might have known about a demon and how they looked like. His spy bought him one of her paintings and he was shocked to look at the face of the much-feared Demon in the world. Azzazal is the most powerful being in that plane and all the demons are dangerous creatures by nature. No one can defeat him and even Assorthan is powerless in front of him. His painting alone sent shivers down his spine.

Mom sighed. "Dad called Iris and Dom..." Mom said, and I looked at her with a questioning look. "Iris has already tried to help..." I pointed out, and Mom nodded. "Yeah, but the one behind this is Helios..." Mom said, and I gasped. He was a powerful god, even more potent than Selene. As the god of light, he has always hated darkness, and vampires are creatures of darkness. Could it be that Zane is like a vampire survival? Is he trying to extinguish an entire race?

Roe choked a little on the word ‘demon’. “He thinks a demon attacked his home?” Gunner scoffed. “Besomar is an evil spirit.
