As we cannot talk freely anymore, Chandler opened the door in silence. Inside is a huge chamber, the walls - half naked rock, half polished steel, lined with a TV screen. We entered inside, and the eerie air didn't shake but stayed on my skin. When the door was closed, darkness befalls us. Only the light from the screen brightened us, shining on our faces. "Lady number 4," a voice resonated from the speaker. "Bidding starts at $200." 'Bidding? Of what? They are selling what?' My mouth opened in a silent scream and my unblinking eyes popped like a fashioned toy doll. A bead of cool sweat dripped down my back as I saw a lady flashing through the screen. 'The girl is naked.'

It seems Zayne likes his meditation. The estate exhaled into predawn gray. The glass walls became mirrors, trapping four silhouettes in a tableau of exhausted victory. Marco’s laptop woke by itself. Blue-white light carved hollows beneath his cheekbones. “Grid’s live,” he muttered, fingers already dancing. “Generator should have..” The holo-table rebooted. No touch. A single line burned across the glass:

The "Hostile Takeover" message vanished, replaced by a single, blinking cursor on a black screen: SHUTDOWN INITIATED: 0% . The Stagnation of the Pack The effect was instantaneous and agonizing.
