The Ominous: Some play it safe, heroes don't

The Ominous: Some play it safe, heroes don't

She could not help but wondered if the woman recognized her. It did not take long for her to realize that the team to work on the case was already chosen. She could also see that Beverly had put a lot of thought into getting this team together. “Agatha Desmond,” Beverly introduced her to the woman. “This is Maddie, Natalie, and Madison. Ladies, this is our village oracle. If anyone can help us find the Faithless and your caretaker, she can, “ Agatha Desmond was going to take over Hughley’s role, Madison figured.

Mr. CEO, Please Marry My Mommy

Mr. CEO, Please Marry My Mommy

He replied, looking around. "As you wanted I sent the footage I found through someone's dash-cam of Warren Murdock to the police... But there was someone else he was seen with on the footage. A blonde woman… This same woman has been seen around Dahlia El Nazari’s mansion." He said, taking out a picture to show me. I frowned. This woman seemed familiar... It took me a few seconds to recognise the secretary who had been crying her eyes out in the office the day I had first run into Dahlia.

Why did I waited so long to read this book. It is so good. I can’t put it down. I have read most of Muse books but they are all werewolves fiction. This one is different. I have 30% so far but it is wonderful, full of romance, mystery and suspense.

This was such a refreshing book to read. I love the rollercoasters of Muse's other books but these characters felt solid and responsible which was really light hearted. Like a vacation from the mini heart attacks.

The CEO's Addiction To Love

The CEO's Addiction To Love

The only way to get him to trust her again was by marrying him. Charlotte had no choice but to go home. She had just driven her car through the gates and into the courtyard when she saw two policemen waiting in the courtyard. The policemen were talking to Mr. Gold, who was next to their car. Charlotte quickly drove over to them. One of the policemen saw Charlotte and approached her. “Miss Simmons, we were just about to call you and ask you to come home. You arrived just in time. Your friend, Renata Valentina, has been murdered. We’re searching for the murderer.”

She Ditched Her Scumbag Husband After Her Amnesia

She Ditched Her Scumbag Husband After Her Amnesia

Helma bit her lip, thinking about the other leads she had—not just the body. Morgan was on the case too, trying to pin down who that knockout lady pulling the strings was. The dead guy in grey was no amateur; he knew his way around a crossbow, which meant he was not just some low-level goon in their gang. If that stunning lady was calling the shots for him, she had to be pretty high up the ladder. Morgan had a snapshot, and with that, cracking this case should be a breeze.

My Sweet Revenge

My Sweet Revenge

I show my secretary to leave. "Mr and Mrs Jones, we want you to come to our offices because we have a few questions," One of the detectives says. They aren't there with a few ordinary cops. I can see Christine panicking. I show her to keep her mouth shut. "May I ask in connection with what it is?" I ask. "It is in connection with the murder of Mrs Morris, your first wife," The detective answers.

My Own Worst Enemy

My Own Worst Enemy

We hung up and I waited on the detectives. The two detectives who showed up were the same two who informed Ruby and I about Derek. "It is nice to see you again Miss White. We heard you had some valuable information for us. This is Detective Wilcox, and I am detective Morris. We will be working on your case from now on." I hated when people said it was nice to see you again when it was under fucked up circumstances.

The Full Moon Murders

The Full Moon Murders

Her hands tightened around the case files, the paper crumpling beneath her grip. Was Damian Voss a suspect? Or was he something worse? Evelyn leaned back in her chair, rubbing her head, the weight of the evidence pressing down on her. It wasn’t enough to make an arrest, but it all pointed in one direction—Damian Voss. Billionaire. Businessman. Untouchable. And somehow, connected to these murders. Her thoughts were interrupted by a noise—something shifting outside her window. Evelyn tensed, reaching for her gun. She lived on the fourth floor. No one should be out there.

Love in another shadow

Love in another shadow

"We need to dig a little deeper into the events surrounding the charity event and Mr. Sullivan's entry. There may be clues there that connect the dots in this intricate network." Anna then cleared her throat and tried to mediate the conversation between the two detectives in front of her, "Is there anything else you want to ask?" The two detectives seemed to think for a moment, and then Nicholas spoke up again. "Did you work with Japanese when you worked with Mrs. Michelle, I heard she was a doctor from Japan?"

He's Rich, She's a Cop: The Miami Love Story

He's Rich, She's a Cop: The Miami Love Story

Evelyn’s murder, and David’s disappearance – it was all a meticulously woven tapestry of deceit and murder. “We need to find Morgana Dubois,” Jason stated, his voice firm. “She’s the key. She knows ‘The Architect’s’ true identity, his ultimate goals, and how to stop him.” “Finding her will be nearly impossible,” Leah countered. “She operates in the shadows, uses aliases, and moves with impunity. She’s likely untouchable.” “Not entirely,” a new voice stated, echoing from the open window. Leah and Jason spun around, startled. A figure stood on the fire escape outside, silhouetted against the rising sun. It was a woman, dressed in practical, dark clothing, her face obscured by shadow. She had e

Aurelia:The Huntress

Aurelia:The Huntress

The Legion usually arranged the whole thing at short notice via computer, since a representative was always needed on Sundays. Now she was sitting in her white coat in the little office of the doctor on duty, studying the various cases she was to look at today. According to Ferroc, she was supposed to investigate a certain Cathleen Morrison, because apparently a strange murder had happened last night and the girl had been the only witness. However, the judges dismissed her story as ridiculous and sent her to the nut mill. Xandra read the report. This time with more attention.
