**The Last War Begins** Two Weeks Later – Underground Bunker, Zurich, Switzerland The room was dimly lit, the only source of light coming from the massive digital map projected across the wall. Red markers blinked across major global cities—New York, Moscow, London, Dubai, Beijing. Each marker represented a faction of Moreau’s former empire. Each one was still operational. And if Ayesha and her team didn’t move fast? They would rebuild something even worse. She stood at the head of the table, scanning the data that Moreau had provided.

Even the lords of the Kazakares and the giants of Humshu island attended. Lord Yokohama Yokozuna came dressed in the red armor of his clan. The Yokozuna is a clan of big dark-haired people with an even bigger temper to go with their body weight, this earned them the nickname "raging canons" among enemies and companions alike. Their beasts, the Maitzu are huge-shelled creatures. This allowed them to be able to build structures on their backs and attack from them. A raging Maitzu is unstoppable and no building can stand in its way for long. The Yokozuna clan is the best infantry in all of the human kingdoms and arguably the best in the whole of Mundillum.

They were territories, I realised. The middle was dark red, there was a green area, a purple one, a light blue- These were the realms. The green area sat in the corner, one half surrounded by water. There were some small statues on top of the table, facing the envy realm. Light blue was low on the map. One of the biggest territories. I smiled at it. About 25% of the map was black, down in the corner. I would bet my bracelet that is where the dark ones lived.

“The tide is rising, we gotta get out of here.” Grandfather wasted no time in converting the basement into the new war room. He looked generally pleased to be needed again. He had couches brought in, comfortable chairs, and plenty of tables. Along one wall he had a mural of the world drawn. With a boost of power, any area could be touched to reveal detailed information. Topography, population, climate and whether or not there were known werecats in the area could all be discovered at a finger's touch.

The map spread across the table detailed the territories of the Napo and Mint packs, jagged borders marked with skirmish points and stolen lands. ‎

'Well, there is always tomorrow. Lunch time was over and Maria was back in class, listening to Ms. Nancy explain the layout and history of the world. "In this world, other than Astral, there exist other nations such as: Sakura Kingdom, Cloud Empire, Azure Kingdom, Fairy Kingdom, and the Sun Empire. There exists one more nation, Grēks, but for years, they have isolated themselves from outside affairs."

I looked for the location of the Taiyou Empire. “It’s in the middle of the land.” The scholar said. I followed his instructions and there it was. The Empire of Taiyou. It was indeed in the middle of all of the other Empires in the land. As I was looking at the map, I noticed there was a part of the map that was shaded with something dark. “Why is this place shaded in?” I asked the scholar.

But this time, it was different. Alpha Kurei waved his hand as if he was telling them that they did not need to waste time. He sat at the head chair which overlooked the entire terrain map of the wolven continent that was laid on the wide ebony table. Atop the map were red marks that focused on the northern borders of the Werewolf Committee that were not clearly drawn since it remained an unchartered territory for hundreds of years. Other than the red marks that marked the terrains, small figurines loitered around the map that represented the werewolves, fortress, cavalry, and the witches. All eyes were on the map.
