He was ranting to my mother about how she had better not gain any more weight because he hated heavy women. That night, I started eating everything I could hold without puking, and by the end of the month, I was fifteen pounds heavier. This continued until I gained almost fifty pounds. He said to me. “How? I am not gaining weight,” It was true because no matter what I eat I do not gain weight. “I'm going to get you pregnant.” I laughed when he said that. His mouth is so vulgar but nuh ah, that won’t work on me either. “Haha hubby, even if you impregnate me now, I will not gain weight. When I got the twins pregnant, I was still sexy, ask mom.” I said to him while he’s still putting sunblock at my back.

"I've been eating everything in sight and I've still lost… let's see… almost twelve pounds! Ugh, it's so annoying." I lifted my gaze. It was true. On her petite frame, the loss was dramatic. Her cheekbones were sharper, her collarbones pronounced, giving her a gaunt, almost modelesque look. I let my shoulders slump, painting misery across my face. "I don't get it… I've been doing everything right, but I've gained ten pounds. I feel horrible." My display of defeat was the fuel she needed. Her preening intensified. "I guess it's just genetics! Some people are just born to be lucky, you know? Right, Zach?"

since when was this guys his di** not challenging? I hugged Gerald's waist and inhaled his scent. Only this man, who made me cry, laugh, spoil, upset, miss, at the same time—he who can turn all my life upside down. "Are you stressed?" I know this is a stupid question. But Gerald must have had many stress, dizzy, and challenging college problems, not to mention taking care of his small family. We just fought. "Why are you getting heavier?" I'm lazy to respond. “Apparently, Finn didn’t know how pregnancy works.” Aelia snorted and covered her mouth. Nate chuckled and but gave me a confused look. “What the hell are you talking about? Finn looked at Maggie with tearful eyes. “I got on the scale the day. I…I’ve gained seventy-five pounds in four weeks.”

This was her favorite dessert shop, one she only allowed herself to visit once a week to avoid gaining weight. Thaddeus understood the inner turmoil she felt. "Drink it. Don't be afraid," he coaxed. "Thaddeus, do you have any idea how hard it is to lose weight? You're always causing trouble!" She gained weight from all the feeding he did to her when they were in Zenville, and she still hadn't lost it. "Don't worry. How about we gain weight together?" Jessamine's gaze swept over him, and as it paused around his torso, she wondered what he would look like if he ever gained some weight.

I've gotta say I'm proud of myself. I wasn't always overweight. I've been in the normal BMI range the entire school years until I broke up with my boyfriend after graduation. From there on, I went into this steep line of climbing towards overweight in just three months that from a normal size 6, I went to size 12, sometimes 10 if I wear clothes fit to my body but mostly 12, because I like baggy clothes to hide my figure. So yeah, it's all because of that motherfucker. He didn't just broke my heart, he inspired me to eat crappy food -as crappy as him- that I swell everywhere with fat, making me gain kilos that I hadn't been able to lose until ten years later.

I was eating like a pig, shovelling food down my throat as if I could force the change through sheer stubbornness, but Red stayed hidden. In a sudden burst of frustration, I slapped an enormous, absurd amount of peanut butter onto a sandwich. The thick paste oozed from the sides as I bit into it aggressively. I didn’t care. In the past month, I had gone through ten whole boxes of peanut butter. Ten! I had read online that peanut butter could help with weight gain, so it became my closest companion. My entire day revolved around two things: meals that would help me gain weight, and exercises that would build my muscle strength.

“Or do you just not care because you’ve never had to control yourself?” “I’ll clean it,” I say quickly. “I’ll make more.” He laughs. Short. Ugly. “Make more?” His eyes drag over me, slow and deliberate. “You’ve already had plenty, haven’t you?” My face burns. I stare at the floor. At the sauce spreading between the cracks. “You know what people see when they look at you?” he continues. “They see a fat girl who doesn’t know when to stop. Eating. Standing. Existing. Just too much.”

I wouldn’t give her the satisfaction. Instead, in an attempt to change the subject, I said, “You look well, Ella.” “Oh, this?” Ella gestured to her body with a dismissive wave. “I’ve actually gained weight recently. Five whole pounds. My trainer is making me do extra cardio to get rid of it.” I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. Five pounds on Ella’s frame would be virtually invisible. Meanwhile, I’d gained nearly twenty already, with months still to go. “I’m sure those five pounds are devastating,” Clara mumbled beside me.
