My fingers trace the clothes in Rome’s closet as I explore the large, dark space. Everything here is either dark or black, save for a few white pieces. There’s no splash of colour, no yellow, green, light blue, pink, orange, or red, nothing but dark and black. And when I say dark, I mean colours that can easily pass as black, like blue black, deep purple that looks black the first time, and so on. It should be unnerving how dark his closet is, but I find it isn’t when I recall our conversation on this
