My First Quran Storybook Novels & Stories

My eyes water a bit at his words. My father reenters the room and gasps. I look up to see him staring at the book. "Do you know what that is. It is the first book that has ever been printed in our language. It is a story as old as time but talked about much." He exclaims. He looks so happy and shares my joy. We both love to read, and I know it has been a while since he got to read an actual book. It is a fine first gift, I think.

Page after page I flipped through the words absorbing every word that I could. The stories were full of ghastly creatures similar to the ghoulcat and the heroes of ancient Gwathendor who fought them. And their lady loves that they saved along the way. Soon enough I was hunched over the bed with the little book in my lap and my head in the clouds.

I opened it up and a colorful drawing of a dragon and a beautiful princess was on the first page. No words were on it but it still told so much with just the one picture. The next page was even more detailed. I turned back to the first page and than to the next page again. They went together like a flip book but better. "What are you looking at?"
