I hadn’t even noticed. My alarm went off three hours later, with a loud as shrill and it was unforgiving. I rolled over, slapped snooze, and sank right back into sleep like my body was begging for mercy. Twenty minutes later, the alarm screamed again, and this time it was followed by my phone ringing. “Fuck,” I muttered, grabbing it blindly. “Hello?” “Man,” Dom said, already irritated, “are we not running today or what? You’ve missed the whole week.”

Honestly, at that point, I was ready to rip my ears off just for peace. “Ugh! Shut up already!” I flailed a hand in its direction, blindly swatting at nothing but air. The shrill kept going, clawing at my nerves. Tears threatened to spill down my face. With one last growl, I shot upright and slammed the alarm down so hard I was surprised it didn’t explode into pieces. The sudden silence was a blessing. I exhaled, dragging shaky fingers through my bird’s nest of hair. Stupid alarm. I didn’t even remember the last time I’d actually heard its voice, because I’d been punctual at work…

So, I thought. Then I glance at the time- And my stomach fucking drops. Nine fucking am. Panic slams into me like a goddamn truck. "FUCK!" How the hell did I sleep this long? How the fuck did my alarm not wake me up? I'm so screwed. The phone is still ringing. I snatch it up as I launch off the couch, already grabbing my bag. I barely have time to say hello before Anna's voice comes blasting through the speaker.

ETHAN'S POV “Fuck” I groan, biting my lips as if it will take away the pain I have in my fingers for knocking them against the steel table while trying to knock the blaring alarm off it. Best way to start a day 101: Get an alarm to disturb you the moment you start to enjoy your sleep, then while trying to shut the asshole of an alarm off bang your hand against the table instead. “Stupid alarm” I mutter to myself while flinging it out the window.

Alex's Penthouse – 2:36 AM The alarm didn't go off. This realization penetrated my consciousness a millisecond before Griffin's choked scream echoed down the hall, the sound cutting through the thick silence of night with the precision of a scalpel. I jump out of bed quickly throwing on clothes while yelling at the girls to wake up. "Get up! They arrived early." It take the girls a second to realize what I'm yelling, but once I do they launch out of bed just as fast as I did and start throwing on some clothes.

That was the first time he called my name since we first met so I figured he was serious but I didn't care because he was starting to piss me off. "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you? You've been acting like this since we left school." I yelled and we just kept yelling back and forth. "Like what?" "I don't know, you've just been in a horrible mood." "Well, I'm sorry if my best friend was in trouble and I couldn't be there for him but some alpha that you just met helped you." "A beta can't satisfy an omega's heat." Akito gasped, making me register what I had just said, I looked at Daichi and he had that same hurt expression on his face that he had at the door.

Tamara's POV The sound ofm alarm penetrated into my ears. "Oh my goodness!" I exclaimed, while jerking up from my sleep. I just hope I wouldn't die soon of heart attack, this alarm would never cease to startle the hell out of me. I fumed inwardly, while glaring at it on the nightstand beside my bed. I placed a hand on my chest and released a sigh of relief. "Stupid thing" I muttered and slowly crawled out the bed.

“Wake up, sleepyhead!” Jack’s deep voice barges into my room and his annoying self. “Go away!” I groan, burying my head deeper into the pillow, desperately wanting to get at least a minute more of sleep. Three weeks ago, I broke my alarm mistakenly and since then Jack has taken it upon himself to be my new annoying alarm. I wish I could break him too! “No way, get up. Do you want to get fired from your work for going late?” He snaps, clapping his hands.
