The shrill ringing of the alarm clock waked Darla up. She groaned, her hand fumbling blindly across the nightstand until her fingers closed around her phone. Squinting against the harsh light of the screen, her eyes widened at the numbers glaring back at her. 9:12 AM. Panic jolted her up, sending a violent pulse of pain through her skull. Shit. Shit. Shit.

_Amelie’s POV_ An alarm rang off for what seemed like the tenth time in a few minutes and I let out a pained groan, searching for the cursed piece of metal. “Who set this frigging thing?” I moaned into my pillow, my hand smacking against the table as I tried to put it off. I blindly flung my hand in different directions, and each passing second felt like an hour in hell as the alarm blared loudly. My hand smacked the bedside table, knocking over what was probably a very expensive lamp. Still no alarm clock

What a mama's boy. I heard the bed creek and I almost got a heart attack as Ethan rolled over on his bed, facing me but thankfully he was still sleeping. I quickly set alarms at 2:15 am, 2:30 am, 2:45 am, 3:15 am, 3:30 am, 3:45 am, 4:15 am, 4:30 am and 4:45 am. This and plus alarms at 2:00 am, 3:00 am and 5:00 am which I had set on the three alarm clocks. I chose the song "Shots" by LMFAO as the alarm song because that song was freaking loud.

I will admit that I am an early riser, however that is what my fucking alarm clock is for. Let's not forget that I don’t usually get up until six, so when the security system started blaring an hour and a half before my normal wake up time, I was not a happy camper. I swear to God that if it’s those neighborhood brats I am going to send the scariest men I have over to their houses. My neighbors and I get along, but there are a few of their teenage brats that like to throw shit at the sensors setting them off. I let out a growl when the system started blaring. Janelle was sitting up looking worried.

Chapter 21 The alarm the alarm comtimued to blare louder than anything they have ever heard. It was loud and piercing, cutting through the quiet night like a knife. Red lights flashed outside the window, painting the cabin walls in bloody colors. Aliyah jumped to his feet, his eyes wide with panic. Alex: The blaring sound of my alarm echoed through my room the following morning, forcing my eyes open. “Fucking hell.” I groaned and reached out for the alarm and slammed it into silence. I awoke the next day, not knowing i had slept through my alarm, it was now 1pm, I had overslept. I layer in bed awake for a second, calling myself an idiot, and stating what a good first impression I have made. Shaking my head I sat up. BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP My alarm went off at 5:15, blaring like a train and scaring the shit out of me. I wasn’t on the right side of the bed and I doubted he knew how to shut it off. I ended up falling off the bed, I barely fit on it with him anyhow. I scrambled to get to the clock and just unplugged it frantically. “Shit I’m so sorry, I’ve had to get up real early all week. I forgot to turn it off,” I said, in a whisper.
