Catfishing the billionaire

Catfishing the billionaire

We all make mistakes. "But this guilt..." I trailed off, struggling to put my feelings into words. "It's eating me up, Robin. Every time I think about Eden, about what I've done... it's like a knife twisting in my gut." Robin reached out, her hand warm on my arm. "I know," she said softly. "But guilt is a funny thing. It can consume you if you let it. Or it can be the thing that pushes you to make things right." I looked at her, her words sinking in. "You really think I can fix this?" I asked, " I am a bad person trying very hard to be a good person."

Dumped By My EX, I Picked Up A Tycoon

Dumped By My EX, I Picked Up A Tycoon

My eyes were fixed on the cream swirling into the dark coffee, mixing into a balanced color. Melinda sighed. She was sitting across from me, and I know she’s watching me intently. “What’s your plan?” She asked after a few minutes. I took a deep sigh and looked at her. “I don’t know. I feel like I’m being punished for something I didn’t even do. Like…there has been a constant trial in my head. Unending, like a cycle.” She nodded as if she understood me. “That’s what guilt does. It will consume you, slowly, painfully. You would try to reason out and fight it, but there’s only two endings to that. Either, you will give in, or you’ll kill your own conscience.”

The Dark Angel Of Merciless Deaths

The Dark Angel Of Merciless Deaths

The weight of guilt pressed heavily upon me, and I bit my lip in anguish, trying to contain the torrent of emotions surging within me. Amidst my turmoil, Antonio appeared by my side, his earlier fury now replaced with an eerily calm expression. His eyes bore into mine, and I couldn’t escape the intensity of his gaze. I felt as if he could see through my soul, laying bare all my regrets and self-blame. “It’s my fault. It’s all my fault. You can say it,” I choked out between sobs, unable to bear the weight of guilt any longer. The pain in my chest became unbearable, almost as if a physical manifestation of my emotional torment.

The Hidden Twins of the CEO

The Hidden Twins of the CEO

I went near the window and looked down at the busy road. My heart was covered with pain and guilt. People said right that no amount of guilt can change the past and no amount of sorry can erase the pain. Because some things can be forgiven but never be forgotten. Sometimes I wonder what is guilt. Then my heart spoke up. "Guilt is the worst thing. You can not see it but you can feel it. It always roams around you to remind you of the sins you have committed in past. It can not hurt you physically but it can damage you mentally. In a word guilt is a rope that are thin"

The proof reading for this novel is incredibly bad. The writing in general itself too also is very lethargic, it feels like it's written by primary going kid. I wanted to give the storyline some chance but honestly I could not due to incredible poor writing skills

I want to read this book because others have recommended. I have read earlier comments about grammatical errors that were really bad and some duplicate chapters. I was just wondering if they were corrected especially duplicate chapters because I have come across too many books with that issue and

The Lost Lycan Princess.

The Lost Lycan Princess.

And that day, I became one. With what face could he look at Maddie again? How could I educate my children, knowing what I have done? Maybe it was the upbringing my parents gave me. One in which “thou shalt not kill” resonated in the subconscious of any human being who has been evangelized as a truth inherent to the condition. A truth that accompanies guilt when faced with failing to comply with the rules of the divine being. But I was surrounded by divinity... However, my recklessness resonated like a constant echo. Maybe my body and mind shut down because of guilt.

Countdown to Cancer: May Your Guilt Kill You

Countdown to Cancer: May Your Guilt Kill You

"You mistakenly thought that the money was from Summer and called me ungrateful for not being able to give you anything. But I just want to say that I've really done my best." "I can't pay you back for giving birth to me, so I'll pay off my debt with my death. Truthfully, I didn't want to die, but it hurt too much. I know that my sickness cannot be cured. It hurts. It hurts so much. "It's time for me to say goodbye. Without me, you should be able to live happily. I wish for all of you to live blissful lives forever." When Andy was done reading my last message, Kenneth, Autumn, Sherman, and Jimmy started crying again. Each sob that they choked out was more anguished than the last.

Blind Fate: The Beta's Regret

Blind Fate: The Beta's Regret

I exclaim, the weight of my guilt threatening to crush me. She steps closer, her unseeing eyes looking in my direction. “Then let that be your redemption, Ruin. Not everyone gets a chance to make amends. You have that chance. Use it to do good, to be better. Don’t waste it drowning in guilt and self-hatred.” Her words strike a chord deep within me and I shake my head. “You're too pure for this fucked up world, Chloe Jane. I don’t deserve your understanding.” “Maybe not,” she agrees, a small, sad smile touching her lips. “But I’m giving it to you, anyway. Because I see something in you. Something worth forgiving, something worth saving. Don’t prove me wrong.”

Seriously, does this author ever miss? The answer is no, obviously! Another amazing story that was hard to put down & left me wanting for more. I’ve loved every story by this author & waiting for anything new is truly excruciating, dramatic or not lol Amazing job as always, author, until next time:)

Amazing! Another masterpiece from the ultra-talented J Tarr. I loved CJ's inner strength, and Ruin was British, so *swoon* The mythology embroidered through the story was just the icing on the cake for me *chefs kiss*

Unfortunately His Mated Mistress

Unfortunately His Mated Mistress

She wasn’t responding to anything I say, she simply gazed into empty space as she kept asking herself, “What have I done... What have I done?” she kept repeating to herself, sounding so ashamed. I could hear the guilt in her tone and I feel relieved to see her this way, it would have been so bad if she kept pushing the guilt away and continued living in denial. It is way better for her to deal with the guilt now because she might never come out from it if she sinks into depression. She needs to let it all out or she is going to hate herself forever because the guilt would never leave her, it would keep tugging at her conscience, eating her from within. She slept off immediately after she got

LYCAN'S CHOICE; RUNAWAY LUNA

His voice was deep and his expression strange. “oh,” it took me a while to shake up the suppressed sadness I had been bottling up. I know one day it will catch up to me just like it slipped up on me now. And when that day arrives it might consume me and swallow me up but I pray my wolf comes back with it at least to help me pull through. The guilt has refused to be suppressed, it keeps my will to live persistent. My will to survive for I know in the back of my mind one day I will go back home.

His Kind Of Woman

His Kind Of Woman

Her fingers intertwine with mine, and she rests her head against my chest, the rise and fall of her breath in perfect harmony with mine. She traces circles on my chest and sighs. "You know," She says softly, pausing for a moment. "When Mom told me about my father's death, I felt guilty. So quilty I couldn't sleep for nights. I cried a lot, realizing that my presence ruined someone else's, but I knew I wasn't the one at fault. I couldn't do anything, and so I didn't know where to put that guilt. It was so heavy I felt suffocated. Then one day one of my friends told me to close my eyes and picture all that guilt inside the palm of my hand."
