The Finis of Everything

The Finis of Everything

I moved sideways so there is a little gap between us but he keeps on moving, filling the gap. “why do you keep on moving? Do you want me to fall?” I asked irritably “yes, for me” My brows furrowed. I didn’t get his answered so I just ignored it “just move” and he did. The movie just started but it scared me already. I always cover my eyes with my hands whenever I got startled because of this shitty ghost, and here is North calmly watching the movie I was just shouting and cursing the protagonist. I mean she is so dumb; well that is the clique part of horror movies “dumb actor and actress”

RISE OF THE SCORNED LUNA

RISE OF THE SCORNED LUNA

I settled on the couch, a plush blanket draped over my lap, and they flanked me, Kael on my left, Arlo on my right, their bodies warm and solid against mine. Sandwiched between these two powerful men. The movie started, some old haunted house thriller with creaking doors and flickering lights. The first jump scare hit and I yelped, burying my face in Kael's shoulder. He laughed, arm curling around me protectively. “Easy sweetheart, it's just a movie.” But then the next one came, a scary face slamming into frame, and Arlo, of all people, jerked back with a curse, nearly dropping his plate.

The Blind Billionaire's Fake Fiancée

The Blind Billionaire's Fake Fiancée

Using a gentle and tender tone, she called out to Finn. "Finn, have you fallen asleep?" Of course, Finn hadn't fallen asleep yet. He pursed his lips and replied with a hoarse, deep voice in the quiet night, which was even more enchanting. Annie hesitated, gathered her courage, and added, "Would you like to watch a horror movie? After all, we're both still awake, so let's consider it as a way of entertainment." Finn made a slight "Mmm" and turned to sit up, and Annie followed suit. She enthusiastically turned on the light, took her laptop, and started searching for recent popular horror films. But then she remembered an issue: Finn was blind!

The Alpha Heirs

The Alpha Heirs

He motioned toward the living room and to where everyone else was finding a seat. Danny put on the first horror film of the night, and everyone else was finding a comfy spot to sit. Zach sat on one of the sofas and pulled Emily down on his lap. He wrapped his arms around her so she couldn't get up if she tried. Surprisingly, she leaned back and enjoyed the comfort of being in his arms. The lights went out, and the room was in total darkness. The horror film music's eeriness began, and Brindle's crew let out little shrieks, which were so typical of them.

My Dad's Bestfriend

My Dad's Bestfriend

I suggested as he made himself comfortable on the couch, completely ignoring my concern. “Nah.” He smirked, grabbing the TV remote. “Look at this—she was watching a horror movie all alone. What a dumb choice.” He laughed to himself as the movie played—a shadowy forest drenched in eerie silence, with trees looming menacingly on both sides. “Jacob—” Before I could say more, heavy footsteps echoed from the hallway. Bianca emerged from the darkness, broom in hand, dust smudging her dress. Combined with her messy hair and the eerie glow of the TV behind her, she looked downright terrifying.

I Saw You

I Saw You

Dorothy was sitting in the middle of the dark room, unconscious. Lulu moved closer and hid behind me but her eyes were still peeking over my shoulder. She was hooked despite the fear that was consuming her. Mandy did the same to my other side. Amara wrapped her arms around mine and squeezed herself to me. Amanda did the same to my opposite side. I was like their human blanket or pillow they use every time they watch a horror movie. They all pressed against me more when Dorothy moved. She was awake. She looked around in total confusion. She ran around banging the walls and doors looking for possible exits. The camera was a pair of eyes following her movement and she didn’t seem to notice it.

TRUTH OR DARE

TRUTH OR DARE

A dead body drops on the floor. The audience gasps as they watch the huge screen, some spilling popcorn and drinks on their clothes. "It's not even that scary." Lana rolls her eyes, stuffing a handful of popcorn into her mouth. "Haven't these people watched horror movies before?"

Secrets of the Luna

Secrets of the Luna

Draping the blanket over us, he wrapped his arms around me. “What movie did you put in?” “The Conjuring.” “Oh, boy.” Laying my head on Ethan’s arm, I got comfortable with his other arm across my stomach. He kissed my head as the movie started playing. As the movie plaid, Ethan’s hand moved to my high and was gently rubbing to the front to the back. As much as I loved scary movies, my internal battle was raging on.

Every single book I read from Mrs. Smith is AMAZING! Secrets of the Luna is no exception. Her writing makes the story fly by too fast! What I LOVE is you become part of the story, and to me, that's a sign she's a great author.
Mila
Love the book although the plot is just a repetition of Tattooed Luna with a few differences. Same storylines… FL with complicated childhood being hunted down by villain with Mafia ties and overprotective brother is also in the mix. Just too similar in my view. But enjoyable nonetheless.

The Quaterback Contract

The Quaterback Contract

Mum got a blanket, and I sat in-between Mum and James, and we began watching a horror movie like a complete family. The kind of family I have always wanted, having quality time—this is actually what it feels like. I want to turn back the hands of time. If only I had experienced this. Each time I shrink away due to fear, James will shield me. His touch feels like ‘I will protect you.’I will never let anything happen to you. I hate when I watch horror movies alone, but having my complete family means everything to me. I fought to stay awake when the movie was over even though Mum tried her best to convince me to go have some rest, but I refused.
