Cassandra nodded hastily, and they began to walk to the area where the scream seemed to originate. Cassandra wanted to vomit at the sight of the dead body in front of her. It was a girl of their age, and her body was sliced open. She had missing organs, heart, and even eyes. The girl also has a missing leg and was murdered brutally. "Holy moly! What kind of monster would do this to a girl?" Cassandra asked. Sebastian looked around and spoke. "Ghouls."

In order to figure out how the mechanism of this skull worked, he cut a small wound and dripped a drop of blood on it. The cracks in the skull emitted a faint red light, and it was extremely clear that it was absorbing the dripping blood. Soon, the blood disappeared without a trace. "This thing is really a little scary. No wonder those believers are so convinced." Samuel sighed. If he were not an atheist, he would have been fooled by this kind of situation. However, he firmly believed that there were no ghosts or gods in the world, so the skull was just a prop in his eyes. He just could not find out how its mechanism worked for the time being.

Drake and Lyca, their two comrades, were already there, their faces etched with grim determination. “We have them," Lady Susan announced, her voice echoing in the cavernous space. She held up three gleaming stones, their surfaces pulsating with otherworldly energy. Drake and Lyca's eyes widened in recognition. "The stone spirits of the werewolf god supreme," Drake breathed, his voice filled with awe. With reverence, they placed the stones on a pedestal before a massive statue, its towering form adorned with twelve piercing eyes. The stones emitted a blinding flash of light, momentarily illuminating the hideout with an ethereal glow.

The ground starts to rumble and everyone is visibly shaken. "What's happening?," Michael asked stepping back as he realized scrawny looking beings were coming out from beneath the ground. They were probably dead as they possessed a skull-shaped head with little or no skin on it and their bones were visible while their legs were not as the black gown on their body hung down past their legs. It was like they floated in the darkness, making screeching sounds. The sight was horrific to behold and Sarah could feel her heart thudding heavily against her chest as she managed to keep her sanity.

Its face was drawn to resemble Lucas, and his birth details were written on the back! The fortune teller exclaimed, “That’s it!
