The kind of hush that always made me wonder what they whispered when I wasn’t around.
“Luna, mail for you,” one of the pack members said, hurrying forward with an envelope.
I took it without breaking stride. Purple. Again. The same damn shade that had been arriving at my door every single day, like clockwork.
