It nested in a golden apple tree, preening its brilliant fiery peacock wings. “Yes, my love. It is zhar ptica, the firebird. She brings good fortune to all who see her. Unless of course, you are a fool of a prince that wishes for more than he can handle! Then, my dear, you will find yourself in for a world of pain.”

The great dark Phoenix descended from the skies and landed behind Prince Arthur, and the ground shook the moment Phoenix's feet touched the ground. "Wh-what is that creature? A bird that looks like an eagle?" asked Elora. Prince Arthur stood up and began to explain. "That creature at my back was a legendary Phoenix in the Celestial spirit world, regarded as one of the legendary creatures. Truly, I tell you, not even my zodiac warriors hold a candle to it. I am not trying to underestimate you, but this is an intense training and your mission is to kill that with your weapons!"

It would hide creatures from hunters, and any trap set would be destroyed. Tyler was enthralled listening to me describe Fae creatures. He would ask questions and attempt to speak the Fae language, carefully pronouncing the words correctly. I was so lucky to have him as my mate, and I thanked Selene and Helios. The setting could almost be called romantic, sitting here in the beautiful forest, next to a campfire, one arm around me as we talked. Pity that we were on a mission and there was no time for romance. I continued to explain other flying creatures, like a psarás (nightjar) and nykhterída (bat), that were out tonight. I named each one as we heard them and explained their equivalents fro

The bird looked at her now as if it was considering going to her but Circe did not seem to like that before he flew over to Leonidas and sat on his head. Immediately, Kleopatra woke from her nap, letting out loud hisses as Fani stood and took the kitten away, patting her behind. "There there, Tiger." "What is that on my head?" Leonidas asked, not daring to move a muscle. "A Phoenix," Persephone answered. "They are birds that can be used for transportation or lifting heavy objects and their tears heal wounds. Another thing about them is that they burn up and turn to ashes then are reborn," Then she faced Loukas "They are extinct. I am sure this was Poseidon's creation, yes?"

It was a blue bird! Li's heart sank into despair. His pupils dilated and his limbs froze. He could feel fear tingling from every strand of his hair to the tip of his feet. That was the logo for the Queen of the underworld. A unique blue bird that had only appeared once in myth. It was said that a white dove represents peace but a blue bird stood between the pinnacle of peace and war. A balance of the two. The Queen of the underworld restored balance to the chaotic world when a war threatening their demise broke out. Her might was known all through the underworld and she was feared as much as she was respected.

It was a huge red bird flying all around the forest. Boogsh! Boogsh! “What is happening?!” The students who were in the forest heard a loud screech. The students panicked when they saw a huge bird in the sky. Soheila smirked when she saw the huge bird in the sky. This bird is neither a Phoenix nor a Vermilion Bird. It's a Gigantic Firebird. In a book she had read, the Gigantic Firebird is third only to the Phoenix and Vermilion Bird. Its aura made the spirit beasts around the forest hide and when Soheila increased her five senses, she immediately felt the presence of a spirit beast. A Gigantic Firebird is also an ancient spirit beast that made them rare. Soheila could only see this in a book

"What…did you say?" "I had a hunch but Madaline confirmed it. Do you even know what a Divine Bird is?" "You better explain it to me properly." "Fine. A Divine Bird is one of the direct descendants of the goddess Nataroth and as such, they can control time and space. This is obvious in the way they cannot age or die. At some point in history, the Divine Birds became the Werephoenix and started to live like mortals. If the Divine Birds were ever killed, just like Destiny, time and space will be fixed in place. If this happens, then world order will be rewritten easily and magic may cease to exist completely."

“The legend says that ravens were born with white feathers. But after he reported to Apollo about Coronis' infidelity, he turned his feathers black.” That was the legend… Apollo then took the bird and threw it into the heavens along with the snake Hydra and a cup. And then the bird was condemned to an eternal, unquenchable thirst... “He burned him and then left him to die,” Dikaios explained with clear disgust, as there was no love lost between the two gods. “I found him and brought him here, nursing him back to life.” He reached down and, with a few gentle coaxings with his hands, a beautiful blue flower that I’d ever seen before grew out of the ground.
