As you are more than likely aware, the warlock Balthazar is promising to share me as though I am some sort of prize. This can not be allowed to happen. Smith. It was starting to feel like we were on to something. We started going down the rabbit hole of links related to this Great Goddess and all the legends surrounding her. She seemed to be like a Mother Earth figure in mythology, relating to all the elements. In other myths, she was the goddess of rebirth or fertility. Some, she was a protector figure, taking on any form needed to protect a tribe or an ancient city. She even turned into a river in one story, and caused volcanoes to erupt when evil came over civilizations in another.

Carmine falls back into a chair with his mouth open staring at her. “I knew it. Zeus, I knew it.” Idris points at Deshal then looks at Beauden. “If I’m not mistaken Zeus was married to Hera. Hera was the Goddess of Marriage, Women, and Family, and the protector of Women during childbirth. She was also Zeus' sister. Damn, you all have something in common. Zeus married his sister, and you mated with your sister.” “Stepsister.” Wisdom and Beaden say in unison. Wisdom rolls her eyes at Idris, “Deshal get your mate.”

Let us all be frustrated. “If I may,” Fredja asks. “Who put up the barrier for your family?” “Our deity,” he answers. “You would know her as the Moon Goddess.” “Oh, you have got to be kidding me,” I mutter. “No offense but I am getting really tired of this goddess.” “Damien!” I look over at her and see her glaring at me. “What?!” I ask. “How can you say that?” she demands. “She is our goddess!”

I began, again no interruptions, just silence. "Zelena is the last known female descendant of Selena, the first chosen daughter of the Goddess. She bears the mark of the Moon Goddess and harnesses her powers as well. Zelena is the newborn Triple Goddess”.

It smelled like incense, the aroma rich and complex, with notes of sandalwood and myrrh. My eyes slowly fell on her tattooed arms, my curiosity piqued. The tattoos weren't the usual ones, at least not a pattern I knew, consisting mostly of letters and Cyrillic-like characters that seemed to dance across her skin. I found myself drawn to the tattoos, wondering what story they told and what secrets they held. My question was, why so many? Almost seventy percent of her upper body was covered in it. "You are looking at my arms?" Lyanna raised them up. "These, are the words of our Goddess and ancient scriptures. You know of our Goddess right? The one that created us?"

“It's called the shroud or veil. It restricts powers at all levels.” “But you have full powers?” “Because the Moirai granted it.” Ana taps her finger on her glass, “I've heard that somewhere.” “The Greek goddesses of fate.” Ana gasps, “They exist!” “Yes, the gods and goddesses do exist but in a different realm. They only contact us when necessary.” “What are they?” she asks. “Hybrids, like Misha.” Ana gasps, “She's a goddess!” “Basically.” “Well, shit! Your Queen is a goddess.”

I began. That instantly captured their attention. Even Jiya looked at me curiously. "The four realms?" Abi asked. I nodded. "I’m not sure where I learned it, but maybe from books or someone told me," I said. They waited eagerly for me to continue. "These four realms honor the Moon Goddess. They are the Lycan Realm, the Vampire Realm, the Elf Realm, and the Siren Realm," I explained. The three of them listened intently. "The Moon Goddess resides in her Moonlight Sanctuary in the Celestial Realm," I added.

Those purist nobles were going to have a fit, but I had an excellent argument to throw at them. Most of the multispecies matings were true mates, fated by Selene, the Moon Goddess and Helios. Also fated by Nyx since it now included vampires. Nyx was an interesting deity. Most tended to assume that she would most likely be evil because she was the Goddess of Night and Vampires, but that was far from the truth. She was an ancient deity that appeared at the dawn of creation. A beautiful winged Goddess.
