Vulpyr Hall had finally reopened for the year. Rumor was they were selling a batch of fox faes again. By the time I rushed over, only one fox fae was left. The owner practically dragged him out to meet me. And wow. Tall. Broad-shouldered. Sculpted features that were almost too perfect—like the kind of beauty that felt dangerous to look at for too long. Shame he looked like he couldn’t care less about my existence. He only stared at me with a haughty, cold look.

There are so many things in this world that can’t be explained. One of those would be our race, the children of the moon, as they say. They are our great ancestors.” Eleand was somehow familiar with that story, only in a different version. “You mean we have to thank Luxus for being a rebel in Zurga?” he chuckled in sarcasm. “It’s the story of faerie creation. They persuaded many followers to join them, and Luxus created his kingdom below the earth, the Elduri, the fire realm. He governs there until now.” “So, in human understanding, the faeries are the fallen angels who refused to join Satan in hell.” He lightly shook his head and clicked his tongu

The little red-hair man must be a leprechaun, the twig looking girl must be a dryad, there are the sprites, of course, notable for their glowing skin making them look like large fire flies and then there are some fairies floating around too. At least I hope they are fairies, the good kind, not faeries the bad kind. Apparently, the only way to distinguish between them is how they spell fairy. But this couldn’t be the same thing as them, right? High Queen Mab is locked away in the Fae Realm and as far as I remember, the Greek Gods hate the Faes more than any other being in existence. If that is still true then why would they partner up with the Queen of the Unseelie court and give her an army?

Fae exist for a purpose which becomes the incarnation of their power. Thus, they cease to exist without it returning to nothing but ashes. Sometimes, they interact and blend in with humans just like Iridescent, the Heart Manipulator. However most of them are often content hiding behind the shadows like Orion, known among fairy folk as Morpheus derived from the God of sleep in Greek Mythology.
