Some of the old Gods had different forms but it was always easy to tell them apart from mortals. He recalled reading about a God that looked like a huge tree with a human-like face. However, those Gods often created beings known as demi-Gods. These immortals could look as normal as any living creature, but there were some who did not. Creatures like these wolves might not have been demi-Gods themselves, but it was very possible that they may have been descended from them. Of course, the Goddesses of today were more mortal in appearance, or so stat

Echidna and Typhon once fought against the Olympian gods but lost. Typhon was then sealed under Mount Etna. Meanwhile, Echidna and her children are left free to become a challenge for the next Greek heroes. But in the end Echidnya was killed by Argus Panoptes, a hundred-eyed titan.

Child of the Moon Goddess

Child of the Moon Goddess

Yesran walked along the shelves with wide eyes, her steps were slow, and then, not wanting to waste time, Yesran began to browse the books on the mythological shelf. Vampire. Nymph. Elves. Siren. And many more non-fiction books that tell the origin of mythological creatures from various continents. As many people know, vampires are blood-sucking predators, Elves are fairies who have extraordinary powers, and sirens are mythological creatures who guard the sea. Yesran put the book about Siren back on the shelf, then her fingers moved to the next books. Yesran's fingers stopped moving. Yesran's eyes narrowed when she saw the writing on the dark blue cover book.

Lockers Orphanage

Lockers Orphanage

[Narrator's POV] A long time ago, there was a group of male sinners, also called cursed humans, who had been altered by the Gods to transform into evil giants with fur-covered bodies, bull-like heads, and tails. These monsters, born from the arrogance of man towards the Gods, came to be known as Minotaurs or the Monsters of the Labyrinths. Five of them found themselves trapped inside the confusing structures created by Poseidon, where five pairs were currently walking through. "To kill is to live" was their belief, and they eagerly awaited the arrival of the defenders to satisfy their hunger.

The Baron's Cold Proposal

It felt a perfect fit and he had slept every night holding her in that position, nestled together. Felix also taught Athena further on Roman and Greek mythology, including pointing out the different types of nymphs that were sneakily hidden in and amongst the mosaics depicting friendly woodland scenes. A wonderful story full of characters you love to love and ĺove to hate. I echo the sentiments around the ending but I'm relieved at the lack if true redemption arc (told you - characters you love to hate!)

Warning ends with a .... cliffhanger with no sequel. Great book overall by a talented author. I recommend it, and the cliffhanger doesn't ruin the book. It honestly do with a round of editing for character names being mixed up. This is one of the author's earlier books and is worth the read!
