I had gotten used to solving normal human problem’s,but never had I ever had to solve a paranormal problem,a guardian deals with odd cases. Mr Phenyo had made it clear before me and the other initiates signed a work contract to become guardians,he said that the position of a guardian or an agent was not simple,nor safe.He also emphasized that some of his former colleagues had to be admitted to a mental institution for mental health illness due to coming in contact with non human species. “You need to be prepared for anything. Don’t panic when you see odd looking creatures or any spiritual entities.You will be guardians”he stated.

Their wives and pups long since retired to bed, even Nate admitted defeat before midnight joining his wife and newborn child in bed. "You can leave, Alaya," Casper slurred waving a glass of whisky in his hand. I nodded silently. I headed to the exit. I needed a wolf and I intended to get one. They spoke in hushed tones, their voices urgent and strained. “This pact is necessary,” one of them said, his voice echoing through the forest. “The guardians must stand with us, or we will fall.” The mist swirled, revealing another figure—a massive creature with silver fur and piercing blue eyes, a guardian in its true form. It stood tall and proud, its presence commanding respect. “We will honor this pact,” the guardian said, its voice resonating with power. “But know this—our loyalty is not given lightly. Should you betray us, the consequences will be dire.”

I reply. “Will your brother follow through?” They ask. “Yes!” “You may pass and know we look forward to the demise of this man, but apologize that he is your mate’s father.” I remember, later as I find a spot on the trail I can rest, that Naga can read your thoughts or hypnotize you. They can alter your mind and memories and I must stay on guard. After a brief break, I decide I need to make it further up the trail before I can make camp for the night. I eat some fruit leather and jerky and sip my flask of tea and then continue up the winding path that edges along the cliffside.

Adrian said as he dragged Kyana with him. "Wait, then that glowing orb was the other guardian?" Kyana couldn't help but ask.

I look at them one by one - the steadfast and militaristic Dog, the primal and savage Truk and the savage and dominant Kane. They are my lovers. My protectors. My guardian angels.
