Claire came from the long lines of hunters who hunted supernatural beings as their source of livelihood. The business soon became dull as there was no more catch for them despite all their tries. With all these going on, Claire was still treated like a servant in her father's house by her stepmother and stepsister. One day, she saw a wolf that was injured in the garden. Thinking that it was an ordinary wolf, she took care of it and nursed it back to health. She befriended the wolf and was no longer a loner. One day, she found out that her father was going to sell her as a slave to pay off some of his debt, and she decided to run away. She got caught by her family and was beaten mercilessly. The wolf saw this and got angry, thereby transforming into a man. That was when everyone knew that he was a werewolf. The family thought that their lives would be settled if they killed the werewolf, but Claire would have none of it. She escaped with the werewolf, becoming an outcast among her family. Life tempted her and her wolf beyond what they could bear. But would they be victorious?

It was a sight that normal people would never believe even if she were to tell them. Forget about telling people! She doesn't even know if she'd still be alive to tell a tale. She can only hope this is just a passing dream. She then cursed and fell into horror when she made an eye-contact with one of them. In a blink of an eye, a large black figure was on top of her.

I was out for a long time. My eyes could not adjust easily and I felt a lot of pain throughout my whole body. I didn't know what was happening but surely I was somewhere in the dark. "That's ok, now sleep. Tomorrow you will feel better," someone woman voice said. Then I heard another male voice saying, "what has gotten into you? Now we are in deep shit." I couldn't listen to the conversation any longer as I have lost conciousness again. I groaned in agony as I felt myself waking again. I opened my eyes slowly but I could only see blurred. I noticed I had better sense of smell and I could hear better too. What's going on?I could hear a conversation that was outside the room I was locked in. "Please, do not tell anyone. It must have been the haze. It felt stronger then usual this time and I couldn't hold myself any longer. He was way too hot and I felt an unusual feeling like I was out of control." That was definitely Mei, but whom was she talking to? Also, what the hell is she? I couldn't forget last night's images. Fangs, shadows, and, blue eyes glowing at me, no, but then the second time they looked Red. Yes. I remember that. I was not going crazy.
