He takes my hand, and together we walk around the pack house, where we stop and he points to a strange kind of bush that doesn’t look like it’s supposed to grow here.
It doesn’t even look like it belongs on earth. It’s a deep, emerald green, filled with glowing, silver and purple flowers that casts the whole forest around it in a magical glow.
My mouth drops open and my hand slowly slide of Johnathan's. "What is that?" I whisper in awe.
He gives me a solemn look. “I have no idea,” he says, his voice grave and serious. "I call it the Goddess tree. The temple is just through there." He points at a small opening under the bush. "It's a bit of a squeeze, I'm afraid."
