It was the kind of late summer morning that made the city feel almost gentle. “You know,” I said casually, as we passed the bench near the koi pond, “We’re organizing a fundraiser walk for the park next weekend.” Alan gave a soft “hm,” like he’d heard me but wasn’t committing to a real answer. “It’s nothing huge,” I added. “Just a group walk through the Grove. Volunteers, flyers, and maybe some local businesses offer free dog treats. Awareness-raising stuff.” He glanced at me, then back to the path. “Sounds good.”

I explained. Sarael nodded, and we kept walking. “This is a lovely park. Open areas for sports, a nice playground for young children, basketball and tennis courts, picnic areas, and is that…an outdoor amphitheater?” she asked as she pointed to the medium-sized amphitheater. “Yes, it is. We use it sometimes for pack events. Sometimes the local theater group performs out here, and every fourth of July, the school’s orchestra will perform as we set off fireworks.” I explained.

“How about we meet at Centurion Park? It’s such a beautiful day, and I was planning to feed the pigeons there. Join me?” Flora agreed, albeit with some hesitation. Centurion Park was known for its sprawling green lawns, ancient trees that cast generous shade, and a picturesque lake where people often enjoyed paddle boating. The park was a tranquil haven amidst the bustling city, a place where time seemed to slow down. She hoped the serene setting would work in her favor.

They passed the shopping district this time as per Tirana's direction to another park that was one of the big tourist spots in Antares, the Gardeniela. The Gardeniela was a lush green park that stretched for 7 hectares, blending in with the forests all around the area. What made this particular park stood out was its army of white marble statues.
