Nathaniel’s Obsession Rosalyn stared at Nathaniel as she dressed up for work. It was obvious he was not waking up anytime soon. He would be nursing a very bad hangover when he woke up later and she was happy about that. She hoped he would be gone by the time she returned from work. He sighed and took out the book which always appeared inside his pocket for several months now. The book was giving off a mysterious vibe due to its black worn-out cover featuring a faceless monster. He got it from a fake friend who had styled himself as a book collector. Nathan was a horror writer so he accepted the creepy book. Nathaniel returned to his desk. He was visibly shaken and glad Lloyd couldn't see it. Despite the younger male's belief that emotion didn't make him weak, it was hard to conquer. Emotion, whatever it was, had always been an enemy to fight. He seized three books, practically tearing the pages as he searched the lengthy paragraphs. It seemed like hours before he finally caught sight of something that could help. It was a long shot, and it was dangerous, but time was running out.
