Forest Green

Forest Green

I stopped ranting when I heard Brayden laugh. "What?" I asked him. "It's funny, don't you think?" He said in between laughter. I gave him a moment and after a while, he stopped laughing. "It's funny how we try so hard to say our feelings out loud, yet mother nature won't let us." "Mother nature hates me." Brayden shook his head before getting closer to me. "I'm glad we feel the same way about each other." He smiles. I smiled back, but didn't say anything.

Her thirst for vengeance

Her thirst for vengeance

“Old and simple magic. It separates us from the human realm.” I stared at the path ahead, still speechless. We drove forward, the shimmering forest swallowing us whole. What I saw next made me forget to breathe. A city spread out before us, sprawling and alive, but unlike anything in the human world. It had tall buildings, yes, but they were intertwined with nature, vines climbing their walls, carved wood blending with stone. The air smelled fresher, the light seemed brighter, and everywhere, people moved with the easy grace of wolves hidden just beneath the skin. It was familiar like a city… but more primal, more beautiful.

Hunters: The Prequel

Hunters: The Prequel

It was a manual comparable to his, and it suited her really well. It was called Nature’s Touch, and it was said to be perfect for people who were loved by nature. Even for those who weren’t blessed by nature the manual could still be used, although it wouldn’t be as effective. Because there weren’t many of such people – those loved by nature – in the world the true ability of Nature’s Touch had never been fully unlocked and many scholars branded it as an Intermediate Level Scholar Manual. Lily was the best person for this manual, and the fact that she was close to becoming a scholar in such a short amount of time was proof of her talent for it.

I hope that’s not the end end. So many left off pieces of the story all his friends on the other world, all the other gods story lines, he’s only used his blood born weapons and armour twice. Hasn’t even made it out of dreamscape yet. Still have everything in true verse going on while he “asleep”

The Ice Wolf

The Ice Wolf

Nothing escaped her beams, lighting up Nueva's snow-white shiny coat like a halo in the dense darkness. With her heightened senses, she was drinking in the pine aromas in the night-forest the same way she loved the scent of wildflowers. There was something so right about her being here as if nature craved her presence. Eira sat back and let Nueva figure out things for herself, trusting in the theory behind learning by doing. She practically brayed like a donkey when Nueva accidentally dunked her whole nose in the water while attempting to drink from the moving stream. "Hey, that's not nice", Nueva giggled.

The Alpha's Royal Mate

The Alpha's Royal Mate

We were so in tune with nature that this was almost causing physical pain. There were still trees, but they were on the verge of death. Their branches were bare, and they were slowly dying from the lack of nutrients and water. Seeing everything look like this was depressing. Being Fae meant we were tightly linked with nature. That is probably the reason why we could control most things that concerned nature. I decided that while I was running away and wasting time gallivanting around purposelessly, I could at least help nature out a bit. Using my connection to the earth, I leaned down and let my hand glide across the grass. Everywhere I touched instantly turned back to beautiful, green, lusc

Reviello's Wrong Bride

Reviello's Wrong Bride

Many plants are growing on the floor, ignoring the confusion that has been installed in Eleonor’s chest for a long time. She wanders, letting her feet move forward without stopping. According to Francesca, the property is beyond the limits of Denver, and it occupies a small portion of the forest that surrounds the mountains, and there's even a lake further on. It's indeed a breathtaking place. Getting close to nature, feeling the earth under her feet, inflating her lungs, and being guided by the breeze… it feels like she's been born again.

The Return of the War Legate

The Return of the War Legate

“Nature?” Adrian nodded. “Yes, nature. I believe that the radiation here has existed for more than a few centuries. I’ve observed the surrounding areas along the way and noticed that there are no living animals in the rainforest, but there are quite a lot of insects. Also, if you observe closely, you’ll notice that the trees here are extremely lush and vibrant but they’re all of the same species. There’s also only one type of grass found here.”

Unnatural: The Wildfire

Unnatural: The Wildfire

I'd left Canada and continued my reign of terror all over the world. "I'll never forgive you, Jacob. I'm only grateful you took me back when I became somewhat sane." Two decades ago. When I started dreaming about her. "Are you sure the Unnaturals have nothing to do with this?" He probed and sat down. "You've killed enough wolves in your search to know that the Unnaturals probably don't exist anymore or are really just good at not being found. That myth is what it is. A myth." When he didn't respond, I sighed and sat beside him.

Evergreen

"Accompanying Nova and you to the forest is the most interesting thing I've done since I met you in the forest on my birthday." He seemed to consider this, a slight breeze whispering around us, ruffling our hair. I spotted Nova a little ways off, crouched down over a plant, eyes alternating between looking at Eric's drawings and the green sprout in the ground. "What else do you keep in that journal?" I asked him, my eyes following Nova. "Mostly just drawings of plants, insects, etcetera," he said. "I write down observations. It's mostly just a nature journal."
