She covered her face and said, "Clive, you're too…" Clive realized he was too impatient. He quickly took out something from his storage pouch and said, "Oh, I just remembered I have something that suits you very well, which was why I got closer. I want you to have a look at it. *Lyra* The hall reeks of blood and traces of wolfsbane smoke. My claws ache, every muscle trembling from the strain, and my lungs burn with every ragged breath I pull in. The stone floor is slick beneath my paws, streaked with blood and clumps of torn fur. The coppery tang of it clings to the air.

Tightening my hand around Drax's neck, my knee connected with his crotch. He let out a loud yelp as blood trickled from his nose but I didn't care. It would never compensate for the damage he'd have done if I did not arrive on time to save Noya from his monstrous claw. Instead, I took advantage of his losing balance to throw him on the floor, pinning him there by his shoulders while he was lying down and straddling him. I felt him twitch underneath me as he gasped for breath. I raised my hand in midair to finish him off.
