His Love for the Blood Queen

His Love for the Blood Queen

Downs says with a sad smile on his face. “I want the funeral in 2 days at the cathedral on Main Street.” “Not a problem. We can handle that.” Veronica nods but does not say anything. “Let’s head into the casket room first and we can get those picked and set aside.” Veronica follows him into the room and picks out two beautiful caskets for her parents. A gold one for her mother with a white silk inlay and a silver one for her father with a white satin inlay. Despite the situation Veronica is happy to know that her parents will be comfortable in their final resting places.

The Alpha Secret Babies

The Alpha Secret Babies

Its golden chain glimmered in the sunlight, as if eager to be reunited with its rightful place. Gently, I laid the necklace upon the grave, a symbol of love and remembrance. It was a tribute to the family that had nurtured me, and a testament to the strength and resilience that flowed through my veins. As we turned to leave the cemetery, our hearts were filled with a newfound sense of peace. The journey had been cathartic, a culmination of years of longing and unanswered questions. We walked away, knowing that a part of our souls would forever be entwined with the hallowed ground beneath our feet.

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

FORSAKEN WIFE, NOW A BILLIONAIRE'S GREATEST REGRET

I finished the urn. I smoothed its curves, I refined the imperfect butterflies, I let it dry, and then I fired it in the small kiln. The process was meditative. Each step was a ritual, a final act of love for my daughter. When it was done, it was warm from the kiln, its earthy brown glaze a stark contrast to the cold, polished porcelain of the original. Carefully, reverently, I transferred Angela's ashes. They were all that was left of her laugh, her dreams, her tiny, perfect hands. They settled into the home I had made for her, a home made with love, not just purchased with wealth.

Alpha Conrad: Born as an Alpha raised as a Rogue

Alpha Conrad: Born as an Alpha raised as a Rogue

Malgorzata Uchtomarked by my stepbrother
He shook his head, but I ignored him and shook off his hand. "This thing wants to be free. This person is suffering, even though he has long since turned into dust." I explained to him, going back to pulling out the urn. The closer my fingers got to the silver-colored metal, the more my skin tingled. It wasn't magic, at least not the kind that Esther practiced. It was pure and innocent but also susceptible to all sorts of evil. My index finger touched the metal, and my heart felt relieved as if I had regained something I had long lost. I grabbed the urn, pulled it out of the crate, and lifted it to look at it. I cried again when I saw the engraving of the name of the person whose ashes were

he said softly and I eyed him coldly. "Don't play cupid Boris, I'm beginning to think that I'm doomed in the true mate circus, considering my past I think I'm better off alone," I growled softly and told him to join me in the crypt to take his father's ashes. We both set them by Lennex and my pup. "Geezus I'm starting a collection, this is pathetic," I growled angrily and removed the necklace Mystrel had given me and it broke open showing it contained human teeth. I dropped it to the ground and gagged.

He carries on without being intimidated at all. "What? Do you want to bury them? Then go ahead but I will only tell you one thing. Lucifer will rouse them and they will have your loved ones' faces but not their soul. I would like to see how you would fight against them. It will be a sure victory for the enemy. However, if you cremate, you will be able to carry them with you always." Mtungagore and Aurora then offer to conjure up the crematoriums as well as the urns. They also ensure to engrave a name on each urn. The grief amongst my people is lifted There is acceptance and a renewed zeal to end this war amongst the wolf.

Sinner's Empire Series: Sin of Silence, A Silent Reckoning, Goodnight Sinners

Sinner's Empire Series: Sin of Silence, A Silent Reckoning, Goodnight Sinners

Shaun squeezed his arm and stood quietly beside him, her gaze on the beautifully carved marble. Jozef moved past his parents' plaques to stand next to his uncle's urn. It was large, almost the size of one of his aunt's great vases, made of white marble and inlaid with gold. It was resting on top of a white stone pedestal and would remain until after the ceremony when they would place it in the wall with the plaque affixed afterward. The service was short and standard, without fanfare. Though top mob bosses often had lavish funerals with many mourners, it wasn't in Krystoff's nature to seek the extra attention. He had been a reserved man.

Let Me Go, Mr. Hill!

Let Me Go, Mr. Hill!

Catherine took a deep breath. Well, at the very least, Aunty Jennifer and Uncle Boris would be buried next to each other so they would not be alone. She stepped forward to give her condolences. Sarah, as the family member, joined in to express her gratitude. Both of them lowered their heads to the ground. Sarah whispered in a voice soft enough just for them both to hear. “Do you really think it’s Jennifer’s ashes in there? Hah, I’ve already flushed hers down the toilet. What’s inside that urn belongs to a random dog.”

great novel that's made me lose sleep for a few nights already.... it's starting to get really pricey though. wish the author could just release a book and i wouldn't mind buying it. I've not heard of a book costing $100 so.. to author, do consider perhaps having lesser chapters but longer stories ea

The Billionaire's Chosen Bride

The Billionaire's Chosen Bride

Until now, she'd always managed to keep it. The next three days blurred together. Phone calls. Casseroles she couldn't eat. Relatives who hugged her too tightly and said things like he's in a better place now as if that helped. At the funeral home, a director with a soft voice and a practiced smile guided her through a binder of caskets, starting, of course, with the most expensive ones. "This one is very popular," he said, pointing to a mahogany model with brass fittings. "Solid, dignified. Many families feel it honors the loved one properly."

Whispers of Loyalty

Whispers of Loyalty

His shoulders rose and fell with every breath, his rage simmering like a furnace just waiting to spill over. “Anything else come in?” he asked. Niko tapped the keyboard. “Not a message. But something worse.” My stomach dropped. “Worse than that?” He clicked another image open. My blood iced. It was the necklace—the same symbol on the iron key, the same symbol on the pendant L had just left at our gate. But this wasn’t the necklace from the box. This one was older. Darker. Stained. The photo showed it lying on stone, surrounded by ash. Like it had been placed at the heart of something burning.
