Ramses said with a dramatic huff, shaking his head in exasperation. I held up a hand, forestalling Ramses' impending lecture. "It's not what you think," I began, my tone measured. "The Necromancers were scavenging the dead from our lands, raising them back up. I got tired of it and made an alliance to prevent it." I paused, studying Ramses' expression.

I really wish I could go there and witness a happy moment… “Hey, have you heard that someone who came to the famous necromancer was now dead?” I heard one of the she-wolves say from below. “Yikes, that necromancer gives me chills. You know he could give you everything you want, but fail to give his conditions and there is a price to pay.” Responded her friend. Hmm, about that necromancer, that rumor has been going on for decades now. I’m quite intrigued but “Oh, you know what, I’m excited to see Alpha Magnus!”

I grinned and turned to look at Veronica who was looking very confused. "Why are you two looking at each other like that?" She asked."We were discussing" I said and her frown deepened. "In your minds?" She pressed further. "That's right" "Okay, what did you two come up with then?" "We have a necromancer" I said and she narrowed her eyes. "It's very rare to find a real necromancer. Do I know the person? Who is it?" she asked.I gave her a smug look. "Me"

They returned to the palace to set up and then wait for their beloveds to return and enjoy the magical night they planned. The shivering that had been waving through Cleo’s body slowly stopped as more and more blood seeped out of her body and into the snow-covered ground underneath her.
