Leo nodded to Nick and Anthony and they nodded back before taking off after them. Once she got in the realm, she ignored all the looks she was getting and let Jochelo lead her to ändu. Anna's husband saw them from afar and feeling something was amis, followed after them. On arrival, she saw that ändu was a desolate and sandy area. It was a mini desert with an old and dilapidated building in the center, almost completely swallowed by the sand. They went in. It was rundown and old. The perfect hide out.

One week Later Cassidy's POV I watched Starr move sitting on the chair as she continued to the blow air into the balloon. "Babe I said I wanted a pink one," I pointed out and she held onto the mouth of the balloon removing it from her lips. "Isn't this pink?" She asked and I smiled "Baby that's red," Jason pointed out amused walking over to us and she frowned looking down at the balloon. "Okay I think you're losing too much oxygen," I told her smiling removing the balloon from her hands making her laugh.

While their hearts ached, Eden, holding Nirvana felt her baby stir and look out across the grave, and smile like she could see someone, something that made her do that little baby giggle that made your soul smile just hearing it. The wind picked up and Nirvana smiled and giggled and Kyle and Eden just looked at their daughter and felt the connection of love and peace flow through them. When they looked at each other, all they could do is smile, as they felt his parents, Uncle Ric and the entire pack pass through them.

So, we got dressed and headed out for the day's adventure. It is seventy-three miles on a twisting, turning, elevation changing, mostly two lane road from Cambria to my favorite restaurant on the west coast of the United States, Nepenthe. On a freeway seventy-three miles is just about an hours ride. On the coast highway, on a motorcycle, it takes longer. Add in the time for a couple of scenic overlooks and it was lunch time when we arrived.

Malachi and Levi drove to the Council ranch in silence. Levi had spent two full days silencing the Mexican cartel in Anaheim, making sure there would be no blow back to Kai. The Council’s ranch, in Montana, was located on Bitterroot Lake. It was built on the river with groves of trees flanking the house. It had wide open spaces, and it was quiet. The Council held meetings there, and once or twice, they’d invited future Council Alphas to the ranch.
