Kaldar wakes up after his impurification, now reborn as a vampire, and having no memories of his past except for the fact that he was a dying cancer patient. He soon learns that he was reborn not only as a vampire but as a rare alpha-specie called the Supremes, which are more highly advanced than the ordinary vampire. He has to decide between his human lover, his aspiration to find out about his past life and the higher court.
