We got to a scene where the main character and his friends were choosing nicknames for themselves. I giggled at some of the funny nicknames and turned to Hollis, "Did you ever have a nickname?" He laughed and nodded. "While I was in high school. It was such a funny name." "Tell me." I urged him. "Tiny." He said and I laughed. "What?"

Axel says. “ Fair enough. I know MC’s have road names for their people. But you lasses seem to have some yourselves. I have never seen that before.” “ And you are curious how we got them?” Lilly asks. “ Aye.” Finn says. I have to admit I have been curious about that myself and if anyone is allowed to use the nicknames. “ Not a problem.” Trina Thor’s old lady says. Then she tells us that her nickname is Swift because several years back a prospect had gotten handsy with her and she gave him a swift kick to the balls. Of course she edited it for the kids listening. When she was done explaining I was laughing.

I wait, but he doesn't start until I wave a hand in his direction to hurry him up. "He called me Ryland the Rhinoceros. It's a stupid name from when I played in high school, Ryland the Rhino." His serious face makes me snort at the nickname. "Yeah I can see that." Ryland's huge. Even in a room of soccer players, I imagine he towers over them. His body isn't weight lifter big, but his chest proportions fit with his overall build, adding to his size. Plus, he's bossy. Rhinos are bossy. Probably.

Nick growls. He is rewarded with a glob of whipped cream to the face. Bryayna hates that damn nickname, but it has stuck. She can blame Gio since he is the one that started it by calling her his fire pixie. Bryayna’s bright curly red hair doesn’t help. Nor does the fact that she is 5’0 and one of the most petitest girls I have ever seen. Her porcelain skin almost blends in with the snow on the ground. Nick look offended and hilarious with whipped cream dripping down his face. He wiped off his face as he glared at Bryayna.

“Look who it is ladies, it's the fat midget Allie.” I’m not exactly short but I am smaller than a lot of other girls I go to school with. Being 5’2” isn’t too small but when all the other girls are 5’5” and taller, they seem to think if you are shorter than most people you must be some sort of runt of the pack or something, and it doesn’t really help when all the tall, skinny girls that look like twigs call you fat, which I am far from being fat, I just have a nice big butt and I am a bit more top-heavy in the chest area than most girls but they all seem to think I am just fat. I start flirting, knowing I'm not doing a great job, but I desperately want to catch his attention. Taylor was a huge guy, and he was the polar opposite of my husband, who is skinny but developed because he serves in the military. Nick has thin blonde military cut hair, a vanilla complexion that highlights his blue eyes, and a plain chin with cheeks that makes him look cute on occasion. But the man in front of me is a beast when compared to my own husband. Taylor is a tall, powerful man who I am sure is taller than Nick.
